So confirmation from Vlad that Suarez is basically a bit of a git ( or a mercenary as some if you like to label it) and refused to play for the club that plucked him fro obscurity and gave him a chance. Good riddance I say .

Have to agree with you on this, assuming he is one of those players exiting the bus then it is frankly ridiculous. OK we all know he is going but have to assume the deal isn't signed as neither team has confirmed it yet there he is in full clobber.

Sitting in the stands in a pair of jeans might be galling but possibly understandable, medical, negotiations etc... but this is taking the piss.

 

Granada now winning 3-1. So they have European football. Suarez will be happy.

Never lived a day in Watford, never played a competitive game for Watford, probably spent a collective amount of five days at London Colney probably can't even speak English yet you speak so strongly against them both? Enough to call them pr1cks and plummet down the league? Bit harsh lol.

 

I'll stick this in here as it's vaguely connected due to Suarez being at Granada's Europa League Qualifying game - and he looks a bit like the Colombian!

Sean Murray has scored for Dundalk tonight in the same competition to give them the lead. They've just gone 2-up as I type.
He also scored in the previous qualifying round.

 

I think people are getting a bit too worked up about stuff that does not really matter, I mean it’s not as if we’ve just lost 1-0 to our local rivals or anything. I wonder if the increased emotions are a side affect of COVID isolation. I’m certainly spending more time than usual on my tablet.

 

I bet when they sign in south america they are sold the dream of playing for a PL club, and instead spend 3 or 4 years moving from club to club every year without even the chance to audition at a pre-season.

Suddenly they start doing performing and we start doing **** and we expect them to come to a foreign country to play in the second tier and leave their wife in Spain to help out a club who has never expressed any interest in them.

All the while their agents are telling them about the European clubs interested in them.

I know what I would do.

But again I think over complicating it?

Why does anything have to be so personal.

We got relegated, he’s going to play for a club in a country he can communicate with everybody, his wife lives in the city and he’s going to play Europa League football.

People get promoted, get fired, change jobs and change careers all the time I just don’t get why in this instance it needs personal insults.

I tend to save that for those who played for us (not very well) didn’t try and then want to leave.

So the club don’t need to make any announcement at all about his departure because there’s pictures of him elsewhere so that’s all we need to know?

It’s not crazy, I just don’t need an announcement to tell me what is very obvious. There is also the possibility that it’s not quite done due to Granada playing and wanting him to travel with the team he will be part of.
Why does it matter so much

 

Yeah - I have already said I don't really understand the insults.

It is more just a general issue I have with this loan system the Pozzos run.

I’m quite pleased he’s gone to Granada and got to be there for their Euro qualification. Happy days for Granada, it’s a lovely unique city and they made some dependable cars back in the 80s.

I wish Granada all the best as even though the Pozzos have sold them, I still consider them as family who have helped contribute to the amazing success and glory we’ve enjoyed under Gino. I reckon it’s good karma that they got Suarez off us on the cheap.

 

I’m sitting at home quite calmly thanks...There’s a difference between getting worked up and thinking the clubs communication or way of dealing with some matters is beyond awful.

If he’s not yet a Granada player, then we should have made it clear that he isn’t to be seen in their club colours etc until it’s announced. It’s weird behaviour. I could figure him sitting in the stands or whatever...but he’s fully on the pitch etc etc

If Liverpool were in talks with Sarr, and he’s turned up at their game tonight in a Liverpool tracksuit and went on the pitch after to celebrate a win, yet Watford remained silent - you wouldn’t find that ridiculous?!
