I welcomed his signing at the time as we were so reliant on Geri and Sarr at that point. We needed decent cover.

But when Geri got crocked we never played him, so, yes, what was the point?

Only if we kept the receipt. Even then we're well over the 30 day returns limit.

Need to sign a RW now though as cover for Sarr.

That's if Sarr stays....might need two new players, or convert Penaranda, Success from the left to right side. I think Gray used to play on the right for Burnley, but has never been tried in that position for us.

Gray would be the perfect replacement for Sarr, if he goes

Absolute scenes when he fails the medical with a long standing issue that was missed in January.

Medical? It's the same owner. I just hope he hasn't got rigor mortis from not doing anything since January.

At least he had a chance to visit INTU. Not many future signings will be able to say that.

Yes Gino will take £7m out of his left pocket and slot it into his right pocket.

Well, it's not quite that is it. Gino might have the money, but if Watford don't, it's not there for us to spend.

If the Pozzos have they cash they can decide how to use it, us or Udinese. Doesn't matter which pocket it's in.

Well, if the money is in Udinese's account, it will be used to strengthen them. Too much of our limited money has been funnelled out for **** like Peneranda, Success and Pussetto.

That money still counts as transfer expenditure, but the players are utterly useless to us.

Lunchtime bants from Comedy FC, Pussetto wants to go back to Udinese but we won't let him as he doesn't suit their 3-5-2 formation (fine for ours though!) and they have Forestieri there anyway as a back up. So we're left with an unhappy player who doesn't look like a good fit for the Championship whilst they have a player that knows the league and club who is only there just in case. Great stuff!

You can hardly blame him. Played out of position last night and has barely played at all. In regards to being lightweight the Primera in Argentina is a bit rough to say the least and he survived plenty of challenges there. Just needs to be given a chance. Sema to the left him on the right supplying Pedro for instance.

To be fair he is our player so our problem, and I also think that Pussetto a better option than Forestieri nowadays.

I agree. Had a decent career until he arrived and was immediately sidelined. Hasn’t even had a ‘stop-start’ time with us so far, just ‘stop...’ - a player who I think needs a fresh start...whether that’s at another club or a clean slate with us. I’d actually rather the latter as there’s a player in there that we haven’t seen yet I think.

He has looked incredibly weak in every game though. I can't say I watch much South American football but there's a real contrast with Richarlison and Pedro who are both skilful players but are also streetfighters and are prepared to take a knock and give it out. Pussetto looks like a wet lettuce in comparison. Reminds me of Fabbrini, no upper body strength at all and regularly eased off the ball (even if that did work to our advantage yesterday with that penalty that really wasn't one!).

He's no Lautaro El Toro Martinez who can scare players by snarling at them. But when he was at Huracan he had to face plenty of cloggers. He fought them and survived and showed off his ability. I think his heart is not here and his mind either. Unless Vlad gives him a consistent run that is what we are going to get. There are several players on the fringes who have been signed and then poorly managed and who have ability. But seem demoralized.

Pedro has only come into the reckoning because of Welbecks clause perhaps, Deeney's dreaming and Gray's hamstring. I think we need to show faith in Pussetto and Penaranda. They have ability and skill which needs to be utilized. The manager needs to build a rapport with them both as we will need everyone we can over this long season.

It was obvious he was a dud from the outset. I still LOL at all the whoppers on here thought that a goal line clearance indicated he was a decent player.

He's a forward, the fact he was in a position to make that clearance just shows what a hapless terd he is.

Spot on, Pussetto in particular. Both have performed at much higher levels than where we are right now. Just need the right coaching and confidence to perform.

Pedro was a skinny lad when he came here, but at least he's bulked up and looks like he belongs in English football now, Pussetto just always gets barged over

Looked woeful. The defensive header he put straight back across the penalty area was absolutely shocking from a professional footballer, then handled it moments later for a certain penalty. Ok second half he improved but its against a second division side. I think you're being kind by saying he's a wet lettuce I'm sure I've seen stronger salad leaves.

It's hardly fair to put a winger/second striker into a defensive position, possibly for the first time ever in his career, and then slate him when he performs badly. Would you have been happier if he had said 'sorry coach I refuse to play there so you are just going to have to play Ngakia, who then won't be fresh for Saturday'?

This who think we can attract a higher calibre of player at the moment should give their heads a good old fashioned full fisted wobble.
