Right, so we paid 6m for this piece of **** last January when we needed to strengthen to avoid relegation. Now we have given him back to Udinese for free. If anyone is in any doubt about our owners and their priorities then open your eyes. They allowed our club to be relegated and humiliated, but farmed out some much needed lucre to Daddy's club. We now don't have a pot to piss in, or a squad worth a damn, but it's all good because it's all in the family, right? CoG.
Excellent. £5 million cash to Udinese in January for a weak player. We are paying £20k/£30k per week for 5 years and now we send him on loan to Udinese for nothing. No wonder our balance sheet is such a state under Pozzo with activity like this. I presume they are at least covering the wages?
Well he's on nothing like 30k a week, he was only on €14k at Udinese apparently. And how do you know Udinese haven't given us anything as a 'loan fee'? They probably take him back next summer anyway and we'll magically get our money back on him.
The clue is “operation was closed without charge”. The article may or may not be accurate but what is so bizarre is that you are so keen to defend it. If they want him back just reverse the dreadful transfer business in the January window. Job done.

How anyone can defend this is beyond me. A sickening disgrace. We are here forced to slap a for sale sign on any half decent players we have, with a first team not fit for purpose, whilst our owners openly siphon money away to their Italian club from our coffers. If it happened at any other club we would laugh and swear it was corrupt and disgraceful, which it is. Pozzo takes the piss out of our fans on a seemingly weekly basis, literally flaunting how little he cares for the fortunes of our team, over his own personal interests, and still our ludicrously mental fanbase defends his actions. It's like that priest in Les Miserables without the story of salvation of a sinner. We are just allowing him to steal our Silver candlesticks, knowing he'll he back for more tomorrow and probably take a dump on the carpets too.
To be honest a sizeable proportion of our fan base are so subservient to our owner that he is emboldened to do as he pleases. Some of our fans will jump to his defence no matter what he does. It’s incredible so fair play to Pozzo - why wouldn’t he just do as he pleases with this fan base?

To he fair, we only got promoted because we spent three years raiding the Udinese coffers and squad, p issing off their fans. I guess it is our turn now. Maybe in 5 years it will turn round again
To be fair, he's the one absolute dud we've got from them for a while, and we might get our money back for him eventually. Even this season we've got some useful players from them basically for free, I don't know if Pussetto was basically a 'favour' to them, but I don't think they're specifically taking advantage of us to help them
I can still remember the pozzo-fellators basking in what a great signing this hapless terd was because he cleared a shot off the line. The levels of cluelessness on here are breathtaking at times.
Such a pointless signing. An utter dud of a player who wasn't even a response to any of the problem areas of the squad last season. Apart from that we have spent "Watford Pozzo" money to purchase him from "Udinese Pozzo" before returning him to "Udinese Pozzo" because he's rubbish but not for any money. Smart.
He should have been. Some of us were fretting about the squad without a backup to Gerry and Sarr, so we signed a backup winger. And then when Gerry got crocked, we didn't play him. Possibly because he's not up to the Prem. Although to be fair he hardly got any game time. Right idea, wrong signing.
Seems an odd signing for Udinese as well to be fair. Given they will have Pereyra and Deulofeu, when they are fit, surely he won’t get a game there either?!
I'd go as far to say he is the worst signing of the Pozzo era. Players like Ibarbo, Neuton, Leo Beleck, etc were all crap too, but at that point things were very scatter gun so of course there would be some dross. However, last January we had got in a decent position to try to avoid relegation. We were desperately calling out for defensive reinforcements and our only signing ended up being Pussetto. On top of that, he has looked crap any time he has played (including against lower league opposition) and now having been relegated no-one else seems to want him. I'm sure some will say he needed a run of games, etc but he was clearly crap in training too.
Agreed. Clearly wasn’t what we needed at all - has all the hallmarks of a deal done because the club was floundering around in the market so thought they better at least get someone in, regardless of suitability.
