Terrible final so far. Not enough red cards for either Woolwich or Chavsea.

It’s quite hard wanting both teams to lose isn’t it?

:D I hope it goes to extra time, several players pick up niggling injuries and a few get bans. Couldn't happen to two nicer clubs.

One red and one injury so far this half. Xhaka what a hard man. Awful refereeing.

    Weird .

He booked an Arsenal player for trying to get him sent off.

Then sends the bloke off anyway !

Ref did well first half but lost control here.

Just seen the second yellow card incident, what a scandalous decision by Taylor, never a yellow card in any circumstances!

Just showing up how poor referees in the PL are and he knows he can get away with it as they cannot review it either. Then again the way VAR works in this country they would have probably told him to carry on as his decision was right in their opinion.

Nice to see the final means something to some players still. Martinez in tears. Shame he wasn't last week.

Where would Arsenal be without him?

Didn't have a clue how to lift the cup though!

I see that Frank Lampard, who I usually like, is the first manager to moan that the restart date for the next PL season is too soon and that his players need more rest. I expect several others to follow suit, completely forgetting that they all had an unscheduled break between March and June.

Loves a moan, doesn't he? I'm afraid you're just gonna have to suck it up, imagine how clubs that don't have mega money to spend are getting by

Scott Parker is one of the thickest people I’ve ever heard. Guess you should’t read a book by a cover but it’s another Stuart Pearce voice.

He can always not get into Europe and be sacked or not have a job at all.

I think the pressure has been getting to him.

Always seem to have that angry look on him.

Educated at Haberdasher Askes although not the mob at Elstree. Fiona Brickjaw Bruce and Harry 'paranormal debunker' Price being alumni. He seems pretty dim. Fingers crossed for a return trip to the Chump for them.

Lampard moaning. Embarrassing. What next ? They already have more substitutes which favours them not to mention their squad depth. They don't seem to realize outside of their own supporters when they play in Europe every fan of every other team wants them to fail. Come on LASK.

    SAINTS COMPLETE SALISU DEAL

Southampton have completed a deal to sign centre-back Mohammed Salisu from Valladolid for £10.9m.

Saints triggered a buyout clause in his contract and he has agreed a four-year deal to move to St Mary’s.

As it stands, the Ghanaian will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine once he arrives in the UK from Spain due to coronavirus control measures.

Very good buy from saints. They will sell him in a few years for a much larger fee. Had we stayed in the Prem he is someone I would have loved to at Watford.

Talk about the stupid hype regarding football.

Jurgen Klopp: Germany's greatest export. Really ? So Bach, Beethoven, Schweitzer, Planck, Born, Cranach, Durer, Rilke, Noether, Schiller, Brecht and countless others are not ?

Craig Shakespeare is Villa's new assistant coach.

Apparently Pearson is finishing his BA in History at the Open University and continuing his previous role of Coach Educator.

Good move for Villa that. I wonder if they're planning on JT leaving to become a manager soon.

Technically yes. But he among many other German Jews did not want to be associated with Germany as it became. The number of scientists, educators, engineers, musicians, writers and sculptors that fled to predominantly the US was America's huge gain and Germany's loss. Ulm is where he was born and at the time despite the unification of the princely states Wurttemburg still had a great deal of autonomy in many matters.

Craig Shakespeare found a job pretty quickly then.

I am sure it will be pointed out at a Premier league club.

Mind you how long will Dean Smith last next season.
