Genius! We interview managers at ASDA and the one that can make it round The Dome in rush hour within 30mins without getting cut up gets the job It is actually better than any of the current suggestions
Get a list together and then have a fans vote ? Remember when L**** did that and the vote was hijacked by watford fans ? Newell who'd just been sacked by Hartlepool got the job....and then promptly got them promoted !!!!
So in one post you suggest it’s naive for fans to think Flores ‘doesn’t know what he’s doing’ but then you display your own naivety in suggesting Deeney can ‘come back firing’ - something he hasn’t done for years.
What this needed was a Billy McInlay fix. Admit that a decision maker has made some awful mistake, but ignore the compensation and go all out to save the club. What we will get is Quique in the Championship as the club won't want to pay out any compensation, and a fire sale at Christmas.
We arent getting a relegation stopping British Managers Lunch Club, Destroy and Exit type manager. It simply isnt the Pozzo way. Itll be some latin type, as it always is. I dont think now is the time either. I think we are now a month away from January so expect Flores has a few more chances to turn things around and then if we havent picked up significantly hell be out before the Jan window.
Ermmm no by come back firing I mean as potent attacking threat alongside Delefeuo/Gray as a partnership like last season the one which got us to a cup final and the heady heights of 7th, I thought that was obvious, if that's the best counter you could muster you really could do better
Deeney is not a potent attacking threat. The odd game here or there yes, but not consistently. There were far more elements to last seasons relative success than just Deeney - while he played his part, I’d go as far as saying he was one of the lesser contributors in the squad. That’s not a critique of him. But he hasn’t regularly ‘fired’ for a long time. So I think it’s perfectly fair to question your comment seeing as you are questioning others. So no, it wasn’t obvious.
Thing is I was asking if we are naive as a question. For debate. You were implying I am naive for rating Deeney, C'mon really? That's poor pedantry by your standards Lets see if he comes back in and the manager rates him. If he agrees with you he'll bench him or go for replacements, let see eh
Okay fair enough, you were asking. But then replied to your own question saying you think it is naive of people to say such things. So I’m merely responding to another point you made saying I think it’s naive to think Deeney will come back in the type of form he hasn’t shown consistently for a long time. I didn’t mean to cause friction with my post. But you wanted debate, that’s what you got? Asking for debate and then saying I need to try harder isn’t a great way to have debate.
This is true and I'm not going to get drawn into trading any insults, Your debate picked up on something else I said rather than debating the original statement. The point about Deeney isn't a good reposte for the questioning of Flores actually knowing what he's doing, it's just t1t for tat, at least it felt that way, picking up on something else I said rather than the point I was making. I stand by my original question and the answer I gave it even if naive is perhaps too strong a word? For anyone to suggest an experienced manager doesn't know what he's doing, or to expect him to turn fortunes around so quickly hasn't got much knowledge of football management. We've all been to many games and supported Watford for years but do any of us know more than the current Manager of our club, would we sit down and tell him what needs doing? would we do a better job,? Anyone who says yes is either a professional manager with a better CV or just a fan with a keyboard and big ideas, many of the posts are not constructive at all and a thread which is titled Flores F off says it all really I hope the manager knows there's folk out there behind him 100% That's all I'm saying on the matter and apologies to anyone offended
In fairness it's only Nath I give flak to. I might not agree with what others write but his posts and threads are just generally abusive. I don't think I've had a real pop at anybody else to be honest
When his character is finally killed off, he can concentrate better on his main job of acting in the walking dead.
There was already a Flores Out thread so this one doesn't need to exist. http://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/quique-out.56354/page-9#post-2798320
Just go please. I've had enough. Brainless Sub just after they equalise. Brings on a totally woeful player. Please, just go.
Go now - I’ve had enough of the negative tactics. while I’m moaning, Pozzo and Duxbury need to come up with a new strategy as the current one is woeful
It's not really working out is it, probably best if he just quietly resigned. Or perhaps was fired out of a cannon.

Equally, the players must hate it. Just like last time he was here. Utterly joyless football bred by utterly joyless training. No wonder they all look disinterested.
Now that's funny, press post once and three messages appear, if only points were as simple to come by....
