What confused me was the seats at the very front, like rows 1-5 or 10, were all cat 3 £70 tickets. Thought these would be the £145.

I managed to assign my ticket ID for the semi to a junior and a junior ticket ID to an adult. Something to maybe expalin to the stewards at worst, however the tickets were identical and flashed the same colour on the turnstiles.

I just figured the closer you were to the front, the more it was. So front seats behind the goal would be £145.

These seats were priced at £70. I think they go up to £115 from row 15 back, but rows 1 to 14 were priced at £70 in blocks 132 - 135 behind the goal.

Has anyone had the money come out yet? Got mine last Wednesday but they seem in no rush to get their hands on it.

Had tickets in basket before realising they were in the family area so started again. It booted me out and now I'm in a queue again. Love life.

I spent two years in the States at university. Outside the hallowed groves of academe, I was regularly mistaken for an Aussie.

Slower process than the semi for me.

About 20 mins wait. I refreshed one browser & went back to Go but then logged in from scratch & went straight through.

First 2 attempts to take seats were rejected.

But now all set for my second WFC Cup Final.

All sorted. Only whinge I'd have today is the family seats aren't that clearly marked until you've gone through various options selecting and de-selecting. Ended up pushed into Cat 1 again but would rather that than sit on the top deck looking down from the clouds. On the upside, seats will be out of sun and looking straight across at Troy lifting the cup.

Up at 3.50am (if I'm flying back, I want some good seats!) in New York and finally grabbed some tickets. An absolute **** show from Ticketmaster but what else do you expect by now?

Interactive map won't load on Chrome or Edge, so the system decided to allocate 2 tickets in different rows....and would only let you delete one, so have had to log out & start again. The only site I can remember for ages not loading correctly formatted.

Worse than Semi. Kicked out twice at payment stage. Sorry, make that three times. Going to go away for a bit I think. Shambles.

    Awful process.

Started on my phone (Chrome). Got through after 20ish minutes but it wouldn’t let me click to select tickets. Simply didn’t work.

Then went onto internet explorer. Waited half an hour, which is fine. The strange thing however is that unlike any other ticket page, it seems to be really slow after the queue as well. The interactive map wasn’t working, so I had to ask it to select tickets for me.

It kept giving me tickets in the family end.

Removed tickets and went back to buy Cat A and it kicked me out.

If anyone else has the same situation, I advise them to keep the tickets in their basket and remove them afterwards.

I now have to wait another 30-60 minutes.

Why didn’t they learn from the semi final experience? It’s embarrassing.

All done!! Slow but it worked, parking space in town booked, just the train to do from Watford. Easiest way to get there from Lincs.

What is odd (or reassuring if you are still trying to get in) is that the 5 tickets I had in my basket at 8:48 waiting for Cat B to become eligible (**** you Virgin Broadband) are the same 5 tickets I ended up with 4 attempts and nearly 2 hours later.

Chrome & Edge were permanently non-formatted so impossible to choose seats as the 2 tickets the system kept "allocating" were not even next to each other...
eventually got on with IE & that was at least formatted, even if it insisted on allocating me tickets in the family areas, which it then said were not available to buy; that happened twice.
Eventually changed to Cat 3 & chose some seats and so am in lower part of upper tier...not perfect but I was not keen on going Cat 1 after the dismal experience in those at the Play-off Final.
Definitely not the "excellent experience" or whatever the club promised...

I wrote an earlier post on page 12 about this. If it helps anyone now, you can call the club and buy adult tickets at the back of those blocks.

    Already bought them now.

I wanted the exact seats I had for the semi-final if I couldnt get in the lower tier for Cat 2 prices...but now these are Family Area seats? How is this fair.

Finding this process unbelievably frustrating - agree with everyone's comment's above. Worst experience I've ever had trying to purchase online.
Pick the ticket's ok, get to the payment screen, select pay by debit/credit card and nothing happen's, just locks up.

    Got my tickets:

Attempt 1: Tried on mobile. The stupid ticket site isn't compatible, which is ridiculous.
Attempt 2: Got through and was forced to ask it to select tickets for me. It gave me family stand tickets. It then booted me out when I emptied my basket.
Attempt 3: I eventually got all the way through to the payment page. Typed in my card details and clicked enter. Stupidly, the timeout timer (which gave me 2 minutes) did not stop/ account for their loading times. It kicked me out again.
Attempt 4: With 13 seconds spare, I secured my tickets. £145 a pop and about 5 rows from the front, but it had been over 2 hours and I was at breaking point and needed to actually do some work.

Oh well. At least I'm going.

Although group B were supposed to be able to buy from 9am, Ticketmaster let people join the queue way before. I joined at about 5-to, but I imagine you could probably join significantly earlier than that.

It's pretty unfair, so definitely something to bare in mind when Cat C get their chance to buy tickets.

Must be specific to your mobile? It was actually my mobile that did it in the end, after the work PC's two browsers just couldn't deal with loading the interactive map thing.

You only have to allocate once in the basket. So I logged in at 8:15, picked tickets, and thought I'll wait until 9 when cat B becomes eligible. Then I noticed my basket would be emptied in 26 minutes unless I completed transaction. So I removed tickets, then arsed around once or twice for the next 25 minutes to avoid being timed out, and repicked tickets so that I would be able to leave them in the basket past 9:00 before allocating. Unfortunately, at 9:01 when I started the allocation process, fecking Virgin broadband decided to take one of its 3 minute disappearances, and fecked the whole process. I have no idea whether my cunning plan would have worked or not!
