There's a rumour on Twitter that we are after Éder from Inter. I'm not technologically advanced enough to copy it but its from @LineaInter. Bit underwhelming if true but I'd back him to stick it in the net over our other attackers as he possesses a bit of quality.
Wiki says: 'Eder is a strong, hard-working and well-rounded striker, with a solid first touch.' Wouldn't that just confuse everyone?
Edit: actually that's the Portuguese one. So certainly confused me. To pile Pelion upon bamboozled Ossa, this (ie Italian) Eder is named after the old Brazilian one. I hope that new scout from QPR is a bit adept than me with Wiki otherwise who knows which one we'll end up with.
Éder Large? I like him. He's that crazy fella that dresses up in tights and says 'I'm Tina Turner me' and the other one says 'No you're not you're Éder...Brilliant!
Feel like it's pretty unlikely, but I'd be happy with it for sure. Italy naturalised him to enable him to be called up for the national team, so he's good enough for them to want to do that, plus he'd add to our ever growing samba contingent. Also, I believe him to be a considerably better striker than any of our current options. Probably why it's unlikely to happen.
Haven't seen him play for a couple of seasons, but he was a pretty good all-rounder with quality. My first question would be whether his pace has gone. If not, I'd be happy with this.
It's not the same thing at all, neither in terms of the situation that the player was in, nor the national team/national team match in question. Eder's made 26 appearances for Italy, including winning a man of the match award at the European Championships, so Fabbrini is an incredibly irrelevant false equivalence.

The one who has a little of the Mark Ramprakash about him. It’s sad when you notice something too late.
But Éder has the edge as he can control a football. At half time recently when the subs are messing about I noticed some players firing passes into each other. Gray stopped one dead in it's tracks perfectly and the next one he tried to control literally went 20 yards away from him. He's got the touch, it's just infuriatingly inconsistent and will disappear at the crucial moment for him.
20 yds ? Are you sure he wasn't shooting ? It can be difficult to tell the difference between a miscontrol and a shot at goal.
