http://gianlucadimarzio.com/it/calciomercato-udinese-per-lattacco-si-pensa-anche-a-okaka Okaka close to leave...
Okaka want regular football & we need a new LB. There's a simple solution to these two problems that I think some of you might be missing...
If he goes and Gray flops thus resulting in a lack of goals then Silva has to go. Unless Deeney can get Silva 15+ goals and save him.
Absolutely top banter. What if that all happens, but we get 10+ each from Richardson and Carrillo? And the midfield chip in with some? Say Gray gets 6-8? And Deeney 8-10? And we finish 8th-12th??? SILVA OUT.
If gray scores 6 goals I'll get his gurning face tattooed on my arsecheeks and publicly display it in the centre circle the next home match. It'll NEVER happen. He's the biggest mistake in the history of the club. A homophobic **** that's total **** at football.
Glad you didn't put a timeframe against it, or a particular club he can be scoring the goals for in that pledge.
He's given our only good striker performance his season. On balance, I'd prefer to keep him. However, he can only last 50-60 minutes, and because of that means that we lose a sub every match. I'd swap Okaka with Barkley, so we have a good back up for Pereyra when injured.
You think spending £18m on the worst striker we've seen in years is a joke? It's really happened mate. A player so inappropriate for Watford fc that you couldn't make it up, actually is our record signing. I struggle to see what you might think is funny about that?
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-plot-loan-watford-okaka-11077328 My mate is absolutely made up at this! Imagine swapping lukaku for okaka though. At least they can keep the same song I suppose.
Why would we loan him to them? Will be another year older at the end and unlikely to get much game time ahead of Rooney so resale value will be lower ? Plus we lose the option he offers us.
My mate is best friends with okaka and says there may be truth in this. You don't know him though, he goes to a different school.
I've no idea. But why would we get rid of him at all when he's better than the other 2 oafs we have? Nothing makes sense anymore.
That'll NEVER happen. Do you have any idea how vigilant our security conscious stewarts are at stopping exhibitionist attention seeking supporters like you setting foot on our hallowed Vicarage Road turf. No chance.
Not that I agree with it but if Everton covered his wages and paid a loan fee of say £4m plus bonuses triggered by performance I'm sure Gino would feel suitably compensated.
Ridiculous decision to let him leave, and even more ridiculous to let him leave to a rival club. I'd loan him to WBA with an option that we can take him back if we need him. Then at midnight tomorrow we exercise that option. Don't agree on everything being said about Gray but I do have concerns about him. Only positive I can give in his defence is that he's started one home game and we had ten men, and he had lost his main support behind him to fill in as our full back. Quite a lot to be said about that I think. If Gray can't turn it on with Pereya in the team only then should big questions be asked. Saints away could be a biggie for him.... In the meantime, keep okaka. He's come back after the summer having lost a lot of weight and has had a good pre-season and excellent first game vs Liverpool. He deserves a chance. I suspect if the other striker in competition wasn't Deeney then he might have stayed.
If Everton ever bid a ludicrous £25 mill I reckon Gino would 'do a Holebas', kidnap Okaka, put him in the boot and drive him there himself
Because it might make financial sense and we may get something/someone in return? I’m not saying I’d do it but I’m sure Gino looks at the whole picture in that respect. If he sells/loans Okaka, gets something in return (player/fee), it might just be that he gets rid of a player who no longer wants to be here, and can be replaced by one who does, whilst making money for the club in some way or strengthening the squad elsewhere. I’m not saying Okaka is good enough for Italy - but their strikers as a whole aren’t great and it’s a WC year. Any player who feels they are in with an outside shout of going will be desperate to get out and play football.
I feel so sorry for Richarlison and Pereyra if they're going to have to spend the next four months watching Deeney and Gray **** up all their hard work.
