We currently lack pace and energy, this is what Max Gradel is good at and 3 million is not a lot of money to splash out for a premier league club especially for a player who is homegrown.

I don't think it's a change in overall policy, but they're targets for the immediate. Which is what we all want right now, players that can make a difference now. And he's an imporibemen on our homegrown options. For what it's worth I've read plenty of Bournemouth fans saying they'd be disappointed to see him go.

You can be both, nationality doesn't come in to it. I think it's if you have trained at a club for 3 years/seasons before the age of 21 you are be considered homegrown. I'm sure someone can clarify that but I believe it's something along those lines. For example Adnan Januzaj counts as homegrown and I believe someone like Pogba would too.
I haven't trained at any club for three hours let alone three years. I always thought I was homegrown so am I in fact stateless. Confusing times
