Looking at the comments, they're happy to have him. Well, they'll be in for a shock. Maybe. Unless he learns to toughen up there.
Confirmed by Watford now. http://t.co/vSb0fBUpUv Interesting that it's only until April. Papa Pozzo wanting him back to rip up the play-off final perhaps
This was the case, Millwall reporter said one of our clauses was that we wanted him back incase we made it to the playoffs.
This move seems to suggest there could be a future for him here. Very pleased about that, but he has to show he can do it in this league. Hopefully gets the run of starts he needs.
Watfurrd have got the best squad in the league so Oi took one of their prograrmmes and cirrcled the names of the playerrs Oi wanted to soign. They sent back a list of the playerrs Oi could arv - Doyer, McGugan, Ranegie and some Italian boy Oi'd never hearrd of. So I went to my new pal Noigel and asked what he thought. "Well, he said, Farbb is brilliant in training ..." He said other things after thart but Oi couldn't hearr what they were as he was playing Yellow Brick Road so loudly, but that was good enough for me. Now Noigel comes into my office and says "the tea-lady told me we've soigned Farbb. That can't be roight, can it?"
A move away from the club alongside a load of other time wasters and whingers? Yeah that's stellar on his CV.
It seems like Fabs is still in our plans "The Lions had hoped to borrow Fabbrini until the end of the season but the Hornets want the attacker to be available for possible play-off games, so insisted on a shorter deal." unlike some of the others in the foursome!
Why bother making it a 93-day loan instead of til the end of the season so he can come back if we're in the play-offs? Could it be because he potentially still has a future here?
Seems to me that the club are simply giving him a chance to make it in this league. Millwall are no threat to us at all (unlike Bolton) and if nothing else surely he'll realise how much he'll need to toughen up in order to play. I hope he grabs his chance and , enjoys playing and shows us all that he still has value to us.
Where's the source for this 'coming back for the play-offs' thing a few people have mentioned? To me it's simple and people are reading too much into it. If we'd have loaned him until the end of the season we'd have lost him altogether. No recall allowed under Football League regulations outside of a transfer window. A 93 day loan is classed as an emergency loan by the Football League. We can recall him after 28 days if need be. I guess Joka is hedging against a catastrophic injury crisis meaning the fairy needs to come back into the team.
http://www.newsatden.co.uk/45289-millwall-see-off-late-bolton-interest-to-land-watford-man.html? There's your source, whether it's true or not is a different matter. I guess we'll see what the deals for the other 3 are.
Ok so it's Millwall's Frank Smith. Fair enough. I doubt he has need to make anything up. Interesting that Joka hasn't chosen to frame it in such positive/optimistic terms though. That's the usual thing to do when a player is farmed out for development.
Yes, you are. It's a loan, much like many others, to get a player game time, confidence and form, to see if they're capable of making an impact in the future at their parent club.
Err the long WO article in which he talks massively negatively about 4 players, of which Fabbrini is one, who will no longer train with the first team or be a part of his selection consideration. If that ain't pessimistic then I don't know what is. He had ample opportunity to not associate him with that group if he wanted.
Perhaps you would like to read that article, in which Jovanovich clearly refuses to name the players he is talking about, and the Watford Observer offers the four names with no explanation why. Jokanovic does not speak or imply the opinion you attribute to him in that article, and it would seem ironic, when you are demanding sources from others, that you fail to provide any yourself.
Yeah. I'm crying as I type this. He's sure got me : If he can't read an article right I can't be arsed explaining it to him. Apparently in an alternate universe Fab is going to one of the bottom clubs in the league and scraping into our U21 side as an over-age pick because he has a massive future at Watford. The picture at the top of the article, the explicit mention of him in the article and the manager's diplomatic decision not to say which set of scathing comments apply to which player our of the 4 apparently means it doesn't count as a source.
Man of the match today in his debut, as picked by the sponsor. Assuming this only counts Millwall players but still
