Betis and Watford verdiblanco traded output side, by which the whole of the second division would pay 1.5 million for one hundred percent of the pass. The Watford, satellite team of Pozzo, Udinese owners and teams like Granada in Spain, the cat will eventually lead to water after obtaining another footballer, who has overcome his reluctance to play in the British second-before and rejected Karanka- to Middlesbrough. The Spaniard, by the Getafe and Deportivo have also been interested will sign for four seasons with the English side. Juanfran output, which could be closed tonight, facilitate the arrival of Kadir, whom the Betis expected to announce on Monday morning, while working on adding a center, with Bellugou on the pole, which come along in the afternoon of the last day of the market. Nor does it rule out that there is a third embodiment morning." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juanfran_(footballer,_born_1988)
According to Transfermarkt, he can play at RB (main position), RM and RW (so I also wouldn't be surprised if he could play at RWB), and also according to Wikipedia he can also play as a forward. In that case, who is he replacing (if he is indeed replacing anyone)? My guess is Dyer if I'm honest (that's IF he is replacing anyone).
If he didn't want to move to England to work with Karanka again a few months ago, why would be come here now?
**** me, what a goal
Offered 1.2million for him, seems odd unless Anya is leaving. I think he's a good player but would rather cover for Pudil.
Lol the keeper took a chance and lost big time! And where do people get the notion they can convert a crappy 360 video to 720 and then call it HD?
He's a right sided player I think. Wikipedia and the Wobby seem to think so. In a way it'd be disappointing if he comes, to no longer be able to say we look at our team without a single penny spent in the last few years.
Didn't Garcia play 4 at the back at Brighton? Anya and Paredes haven't been convincing as full backs and I can't see Lloyd being the answer unfortunately.
If he's being signed to play anywhere on the right it's extremely pointless with the current players we have. Just going to **** people off even more. Hopefully he will be the CM we need to compliment Abdi and Tozser, someone who has athletic and defensive qualities. The fact he can play anywhere on the right shows he must have the 2 qualities mentioned. Also he must be technically decent too being a young Spaniard that's been at Real Madrid. Could turn out to be a great signing but I doubt it.
Sounds like he'll be a competitor for the two international right wing-backs we've already got. Meanwhile our only leader i midfield hasn't got the legs to be a first choice and we STILL don't have the English-style, or even English, central defender to dominate the middle in between the more elegant Hoban and Angella. But maybe the new Gaffa will go for an entirely different formation so we can have another exciting turnover of players at the first opportunity.
He can play RWB, RM, RCM and as a forward. An incredibly useful player to have if we are going to be tactically flexible. If we play a 442, then we only really have Paredes, Anya and Murray to cover two positions down the right side? And who knows, we might have a player who can actually cross now.
''Sports Tonight Live @SportsTonightTV 2m Watford have signed Real Betis utility man Juanfran for £500,000,''
Think he'll be a good signing, sounds very versatile and reliable. 3 assists in Europe last season and 2 more and a goal in La Liga, should be a nice addition. To be honest i'd be happy with anyone who's made two appearances for Real Madrids first team, especially if Mourinho thought him good enough to play 20 minutes.
Could this mean the end of Anya's Watford career? If we could get say £1.5 million - £2 million would take that all day long.
I actually really like Anya.. Sure he's had a bad start to the season but we all know how good he is. I'd be very disappointed if we traded him for Juanfran.
It was having no manager at the club was what sealed the deal. It's the only answer Juanfran could have possibly looked upon favourably to the question 'Which sectionable lunatic of a manager will I have to play under?'.
Anya will be kept surely. He is very versatile and homegrown. It just means that we can now play a defensive 442 with Pudil & Paredes as the wingbacks and Anya/ Dyer and Juanfran/ Murray as the wingers.
