Has anybody got the credit for being the first to use the expression: He was entitled to go down.

They did football and sport in general a huge disservice whoever it was.

Tired as feck but staying awake for tonight's Bhasin/Claridge love-in.

Also, not sure if anyone else noticed, but Football Focus did a Championship round up this lunchtime and featured every midweek game last week except ours??? I didn't watch the whole show, so maybe we were featured earlier in the show, but if not, WTF? Have the FLS jokers infected Football Focus as well?!

I wonder if Tom Ince feels like a c**t playing for Derby years after he was miles too good for this league!

We got another nice little spot at the end of the top-of-the-table round up.

We did OK this week. Absence of Claridge may have helped.

We will be barely mentioned until we take first or second spot then we will become the championships antichrists. Poor little Middlesbourough with their English players and tiny wage bill. Poor little Derby with their English players and tiny little wage bill, etc etc!

Didn't mention Millwall thugs at Rotherham. Rosenior even praised their fans.

What a joke of a show.

They showed a lot more of the Cardiff wolves game than our match.

Get over it guys. Who cares. There are so many ways to get your WFC media fix. If the FLS upsets you so much don't watch it.

    Gary Johnson:

"You gotta have that in your repertoire in your dressing room, and if you know you have that as a manager that you have players that can score 2,3,4 goals you know you've got every chance, because 1-0, 2-0 down you know that you can get the, get the game back"

Always interesting to hear true insight from a master of his craft.

    tonight stooped to new levels.

Prelude talks about 3 of the top 4 clubs, then cuts to respective games (norwich - derby, boro - ipswich)

Then an in depth article about little old Boremuff and their romantic rise from disaster to top of the league: forgets to mention the £millions of (corrupt) Russian oil money used to underwrite the revival.

Then to the dialogue (and fair play for mentioning Nic Cruwys) but after a quick dabble from the guest who recognises WFC success and says we can score goals anywhere irrespective of the managerial upheaval, the Leicester (bottom of PL) double act, denigrates the efforts, changes subject and moves on to Northern FC...plus ca change!

There is a huge chip on your shoulder. Talked about us for a while, showed the goals for a second time too.

I don't know what you saw mate.

Tonight wasn't the worst they've done by a long stretch. The balance of that show is just all wrong though. They fester away 20 minutes of air time on one/two games that they decided to send a few extra cameras to regardless of how good the game was, and then do their best to cram the other 30-35 games into the remaining timeframe.

They'd be better just giving every match in the FL 2-3 minutes and be done with it, whether they give the extra commentary post-game on some or not.

Up and down the country all league fans complain about their cameo performance on FLS. Do the maths of show time by clubs they have to show. Each club gets their goals shown plus a couple of sentences unless you are the main game

There's no conspiracy with FLS or referees...

Yep, both are just poor, no conspiracy. Nobody I talk to from other clubs likes the FLS much either

Its very clichéd driven - like most people/programme in football.

Claridge just states the obvious - or bashes a manager because of course he was an wonderful boss..

I think its a bit harsh to keep going on about the management changes - Slav has been here for a while and apart from McKinley the changes have been down to the manager themselves quitting...

To be fair whenever I have watched this show they have talked about Watford most times. In fact they always seem to talk about us. It's a cr@p program generally but I think people on here gets their knickers in a twist too easily.

They weren't so bad this time and although they didn't show the banner, fair play for their words towards Nic.

Phil Brown looked like he'd been a two day coke bender before the show and I think this showed in his ridiculous comments about the manager changes which was so last year.

I also enjoyed the quick change of subject employed by Bhasin when he realised that Brown and ****idge were on the cusp of moaning about Reading making all the changes when it's the BBC's scheduling of the replay that pretty much forced their hand.

Not really. The BBC put the games on when the FA schedule them for. And the FA are following a UEFA rule.

To be fair when they have managers on they are always complimentary about us. Mowbray, Johnson and now Brown have all praised us.
Claridge does seem to have some issues with us though.

Fair enough it's a UEFA rule, but I'm not convinced it needed to be on the Monday other than to satisfy the Beeb.

Steve Claridge is not very articulate, not very bright, was a very scruffy individual on the pitch, played for L*t*n and is clearly a bit of a pie can! He may well not like us but I see that as his loss!

Dowie always sounds to me as if he is half way through a steak and kidney pudding! Very difficult to discern what the chap's on about.

Didn't he study aeronautics or something similar at Hatfield Polytechnic? Whatever it was it wasn't enunciation!
