Catania were in Serie A for a good few years and were knocking on the door of Europe (albeit surprisingly) a couple of years ago. Shouldnt he do a lot better than mid-table?
There is a big difference between Forest winning stuff a few decades ago and Catania finishing well in the top half of Serie A just a couple of years ago. Now I don't know the situation at Catania specifically, but it's there first season back down in Serie B for a good few years, so mid table would presumably be the absolute minimum they'd expect. Just like Wigan last year, Norwich and Fulham this year.
Yes exactly like Wolves, but they did **** and got relegated. All I'm saying is that a club like Catania, without any apparent financial problems, probably won't be satisfied with mid table. Not that controversial folks.
I always liked his technique and his personality shone through when he played, but not good enough I'm afraid.
Don't understand why he isn't good enough His performance in that vital game against Hull in the 12/13 season will live long in the memory. He was a machine.
So, some chap called Cristian Battocchio has just signed for Brest in Ligue 2 in France. http://www.sb29.com/11-08-15-benvenuto-cristian-battocchio.php Signed on a two year contract for them after difficult negotiations.
Shame to see him go, because like Fessie, he was very enthusiastic about WFC, but he was never going to make it here, so best wishes to him in his future career, and I think most of you will agree that he will always be welcome at Vicarage Road :sign15:
He only went to Stade Brestois to join up with the legendary Jean-Alain Fanchone!! I kid you not, Fanchone plays for them as well.
Inevitable for a very long time. Probably be a good move for him, if he plays regularly he has potential to be a very good player I think. I'll miss the loveable little scamp.

All the best Cristian, a great little player with bags of enthusiasm. Didn't see a place for him here this season, but potentially one for the future. Hope we have maintained some sort of percentage fee for him or a first option in the future. Will fernando follow him out of the door?
