Really? Always seen shoe collecting to be a womans thing.

I have a smart pair for work, 2 pairs for sports (inside and outside) and a pair of timberlands.

Though I also suffer from having a wide foot so my selection is also limited.

 

It's not collecting, if I were to keep them in the boxes and never wear them, that'd be collecting, I just like trainers

 

recently bought the retro Jordan I, in yellow of all colours. They are quite garish, but I like them!

A nice pair of trainers is far easier to buy than football boots, which are mostly ugly.

Am I the only one that thinks symmetry is important in a pair of shoes?

 

Still wear these now. Back to my days of being in to hip hop.
Used to own a pair of Travel Fox trainers back in the day on the basis the rapper from De La Soul had about 100 pairs. Probably have about 10 pairs of trainers, 3 pairs of flip flops and 4 pairs of smart shoes

 

In what resepect? Toe to heel, left to right? or even from one foot to the other? I would think a symetrical shoe would be a bit uncomfortable.

Which plant do you recommend for growing a nice pair of sneakers? I've struggled to find one that is capable of withstanding much punishment on the pavement.

I'm sure they used to be sneakers in this country when I was a kid too.

Always trainers in Sunny Ruislip/Eastcote/Pinner in the last 30 odd years amongst my peers.

 

Picked these up in a mid-season sale

Out of interest Don, how much is it to buy the 2 pairs you posted on here today?

 

The ones I bought were £45 (down from £90) and the others ones will sell on eBay for £150+

 

£150 for a pair of trainers? I wear mine out really quickly as I have overpronation, but that seems a ridiculous price?

£45 for a £90 set isn't to bad, though I personally wouldn't pay that for those particular ones.

 

Most I ever paid for trainers was about £65 I think, might've paid £70 for my NikeID's but not sure.

I would never pay £150 for a pair but people do, due to rarity etc etc

I only ever really buy trainers if they're on sale, luckily that's fairly often

I actually have the same pair of Nike Blazers myself.

Not a massive fan of asics myself but they're growing on me with some pairs they're putting out

 

I actually need to buy a new pair soon as my current running trainers are knackered. I have Orthotics to help my overpronation (only got them this week) so need to wear them in. Don't want to spend to much, but any suggestion on a good running shoe that is comfortable? Also want good value for money.

 

Thought they only did flip flops
