Moreover, we actually look less fragile when we're going for it usually.

And if his attack minded subs had got us the win, you'd be singing his praises to the heavens, it didn't cost us anything in the end but it made for a thrilling end to the match.

Agreed, and it's because we don't lose the ball and mostly keep the opposition penned in their own half. It's the same sort of strategy Barcelona use: play high up and compress the opposition on the ball to regain possession. Once the ball is turned over, utilise the ball skills of the technical players to retain possession and create gaps while tiring out the opposition, who chase shadows.

Obviously we're nowhere near Barca's ability, and we're not playing like them either, but the overall strategy for our more aggressive formations is identical.

Risking a point, in an attempt to get two more, will always be preferable for me.

Unless we only need the one point to go up, of course.

It's a debatable issue but I think you've gotta pick your times. Forest were a mess after we'd scored and it seemed a good opportunity to go gung ho for the win.

Great to see we had the team who hadn't conceded yet's defence getting chopped up by us.

Like all modern football hipsters, i'm a big fan of the aggressive, hold a high line strategy. This is the way we should continue to play even if it means several more games of stupid mistakes.

Playing this way, there will be games where the opposition just does smash and grab against us. But over the course of 46 games, offensive-minded prevails.

Tactics were fine but I've just two moans ... Andy Reid is the last person you want unmarked on the edge of your box, he's not the quickest so there's not really an excuse.
Much as it's nice when they score, if you switch to 3-4-3 then the centre backs really shouldn't be going up for corners and set pieces, it's just too risky.

Otherwise fine and Cassetti's 'mistake' was a tad unlucky, I refuse to b!tch about it.
