If I was a footballer i'd wear a rainbow armband. I think that'd make more of an impact than laces. Good though that homophobia is being tackled though.
I hate that in 2013 people still have to campaign about this and just the one weekend? Why not stand up to it all season? Homophobia & racism are still 2 massive issues in football and it is disgusting.
A lot worse things going on in the world at the moment that could probably do with some media attention.
Got to say I agree with C's Beard. Feed some starving kids then worry about sticking rainbow coloured laces in your boots.
football is a sport played for entertainment and in some cases as a business not a billboard or method of campaigning next we'll be having a minute's camp off before kickoff some people like the same sex get over it and get on with playing the game
