I watched all 4 semis. Colombia were just a bit tactically naive I think - some real talent but not enough depth. England more professional, just like the last game. Japan will regret not playing like they did in the last 10 minutes for the first 80 minutes. Sweden managed to bully them but not sure they can do that to any of the other remaining teams. Disappointed for France, love watching them play and feel they haven’t again gone as far as they could, again. An amazing shootout really. Not sure what to make of Australia. Can’t see they are world beaters but an honest hardworking side and at home of course. Spain looked good but defensively can be dodgy and I still think there’s not much of a bond - noticed the coach didn’t really celebrate with the players after the match! I’ll go for a Spain - England final but what do I know?
Out of interest has anybody watched this World Cup and made them more interested in attending a Watford ladies game as they enjoy the style of game or feel that it’s total gash and reinforced your views that you have no interest?
Neither. I’ve enjoyed the World Cup but it doesn’t connect to going to watch a local match, any more than going to the Olympics in London inspired me to go to a local track meet etc. And I know most of the England players names now but I still couldn’t tell you which clubs any of them play for.
Is the high pitched squealing at every half chance played over the stadium speakers, or are both sets of fans made up of Bros fans from 1987?

Also, the commentators there keep mentioning the great atmosphere but it’s not really coming across like that on TV.

Fantastic. A really good performance. And always lovely to have some success down under too. Can’t wait for Sunday. Spain pushed us so close at the Euros and maybe were unlucky not to beat us. Should be an intriguing final.
Hemp was very average in the first couple of games but has improved greatly and is challenging Bronze as to the most valuable player. Has been excellent all match. RC you may need to revise your prediction?!
