Fancy playing regularly for a team consisting of Watford fans on Saturday mornings? Watford Internet Football Club (WIFC) are a team of Watford fans who play in the National IFA league against a variety of other supporter teams as varied as West Ham, Oxford, Preston and Bury. We've even travelled overseas to play in Milan and Stockholm and just last season had a full 90 minute game at Vicrage Road! We're on the hunt for new players - any skill, any position, any age to join us. The one rule - you have to be a Watford fan. Simple really. We tend to play most Saturdays (home and away) but on 4th Sept we'll be hosting an open game for new and current players. WIFC Reds v Yellows kicks off at 1030 at The Met Police Sports Ground, Bushey and you're welcome to join us. If you fancy getting some regular, competitive football simply email Matt and Jamie at wifc@bsad.org or learn more about us at www.watfordifc.com
met a number of great people through playing for WIFC (even Wazza I guess) if anyone serious wants to give it a go, I cant recommend it any higher
I have started playing for them recently and will continue to do so. Good laugh, don't have to be at a certain ability to play and is also a great way to get to away games.
myself, wazza, shirty, and rumour has it you on saturday ;-) not sure if there are any other "lurkers"
So... Out of yourself, Benskins, Wazza and Aylesbury what positions do you play? And are you any good?
I have no idea who benskins is in real life but shirty is a striker (retired) wazza is the same though can play on the wing me im the definition of utility have played everywhere but upfront with varying levels of success. As for abilities thats not something i want to comment on but there are players of all abilities at the club.
I last played a year back and played on and off for about 8 years. They / we are a good bunch of guys and you'll be fine if you play in the right spirit - ie don't take the matches too seriously.

Yup, we are short of players for Saturday if you are heading up north for the game? Playing for WIFC is a good craic.
Unfortunately not, it's my Dad's birthday but my away trips will be limited this season anyway, got season ticket though. I'm part of a 5-a-side team in Hatfield atm but we might be stopping so if we do I will definitely sign up; I'm only 17 though is that a problem?
No thats fine. Have a look around the site and you'll get a lot more info. This is a good starting point; http://www.watfordifc.com/2011/12/29/new-players/
