Why won't the Pozzo's sign talented British youngsters?

There are none.

 

Wages.

 

And spending lots of money on talent always gets teams promoted!

I don't think the player has to be British, but we seem to constantly neglect strength, pace, work rate and directness in our signings.

If we bring in a small creative player who is more about skill than hard work, we will have missed the point entirely.

 

We need more players who are so up for causing suffering they are considering joining ISIS.

 

We've signed 'proven' Championship players and they couldn't give a ****.

Whether that's down to billy big *******s or the atmosphere around the club, I don't know.

 

Get rid of Billy big *******s and sign players with small *******s.

****ing hell, really? For a player with 6 months left on his contract, that's crazy.

 

And this is why the pozzos don't buy young English players. 2m for a 21 year old who has struggled at championship level and has only had 1 good season at League 1 level. Whereas 3.1m can buy you someone like Layun, who's had a decent world cup, seems a decent humble guy and is basically the complete opposite to 90% of young English footballers.

 

Layun is another player simply not fit for purpose.

You don't buy a mink coat to go on holiday to the jungle.

Who signs Mexicans and Ecuadorians to get promoted from the Championship?

He's probably a very good player. Is he what we need to get out of the Championship? In my opinion, he's another player not fit for purpose.

We brought in Dean Hammond, Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Kevin Phillips last season and they all did really well and contributed to the squad massively. Its about having a mix and the fact that proven championship players like Andrews and Dyer haven't worked out suggests a lack of cohesion in the squad perhaps. Or Dyer is a ****. I've lost track to be honest.

I know its been said a million times on this forum but for every foreign flair player you need someone who knows what the championship is all about. Shaun Derry, Clint Hill, Dean Hammond, Jordan Stewart etc.
