    Evening all.

I just wanted to point you in the direction of an article which attempts to articulate why I think we should all be proud to be Watford fans ahead of this Saturday's game with Millwall.

As Hornets we obviously have our fair share of nonsense to deal with, but largely speaking, I think it's a pretty special club to support. Hopefully you agree. Anyway, have a read and let me know what you think.

    Cheers all,
    RM

Superb article and, in my view, truly reflects that of the entire fanbase.

The display this weekend is going to be quite incredible. You only have to look at all the other professional clubs up and down the country - those with two, three or four times the support that we have, with increasing amounts of revenue and fortune - and yet, it takes little old Watford to put together something so meaningful. I've been listening in on the tireless work the 1881 members have put in and whilst those members haven't lost sight as to why the display is being done, it goes without saying that it takes an incredible amount of effort by those leading on this. The fans, the players and the club, all of whom are united on any other given day and being united will be epitomised for all to see on Saturday. The hard work for such a great cause - the organising and the finer details that seem to have stretched on for months - will be greatly benefited by us all. It'll be a truly remarkable day for what is a truly remarkable event, that I'm sure will mean as much to us now as it will do to the next generation when they look back on those that celebrated the 100th anniversary and the manner in which it was done.

As numerous articles have said, it's imperative that fans take their seats a little earlier than usual, which I'm sure we all will do.

I'm massively proud to support Watford and always will be. The fact that we are a family club, that so many players love their time here, and the passion most of our fans have to see us do well are among many reasons. But special credit to Roy and the 1881 for their endeavours over the past three seasons. It's not easy to be a lone man banging the drum, but every year this group is growing and slowly creating a better atmosphere at the Vic, which I do believe plays some part in the fact that we have become so hard to beat at home.

Saturday's efforts are a culmination of their dedication, and we're going to have a newsworthy display to be very proud of, in a shiny four sided ground, sold out with a chance to go top of the league again. A great time to be a hornet and well done chaps.

I would never swap supporting the hornets for any other team, nearly all my close friends that I have known for years are Hornets and as far as I know it is a reason we all keep in touch, although we all still go to home games and about quarter of away games i see it as a social event.

Man U friends moan how they have had enough of football last year when for one season out of the last 20 they had a below good season.

Followed England everywhere for 20 years and you meet some of the best lads in the world and kept in touch for 20 years, always good catch up at away games

    Ok

Great work organising this and think it will be emotional when it happens, I hope it gets the publicity around the country and even the world it deserves, with all those other clubs with their massive budgets won't conoete with this. I hope the White poppy lot don't try and ruin it. Good luck to those in charge of logistics !

I'm more concerned about the illegal immigrants ruining the display.

What if the display has Ebola, what then?

  9. I've heard the H&S will make a surprise inspection and declare the display a danger to the public
