Did anyone notice the choice of music from Radio Hornet? Such hits as 'Everwhere you go, you always take the weather with you' and 'Nightswimming' were given a good airing ;D I was waiting for Wet, Wet, Wet's greatest hits to start!
Yes, while we were standing around for the 10 minutes while they sorted out coaches for the away fans and the managers went for a wander on the pitch.
yes he did and got a chant of 2-1 to the goldern boys. i did not hear 'why does it always rain on me' by travis though, we seemed to have every other weather related songs like 'sunshire on a rainy day' etc
I noticed that. Thought it was funny and someone was having a laugh. ;D Similarly with the music to run out to - see other thread.
Beat me to it UEA, the disc jockey is a comedy genius and i bet they were having a right laugh in their box. This was the playlist: 1)Sunshine on a rainy day - not sure of the artist 2)Always take the weather - crowded house 3)Nightswimming - REM 4)Patience - Take That 5)Purple Rain - Prince LOL !
Yes I agree that bought a smile to my face, good touch. Also do you reckon the Radio Hornet DJ had a set of songs put to one side incase of abandonment and had just been itching to use them. Today he got his chance, he must have been overjoyed.
In Aidy's BBC Football Focus interview, he talked about "The Great Escape" and "Mission Impossible" (in a tongue in cheek way). Clearly the theme tune being played before the game was a bit of a joke nodding in the direction of that interview. You can see the whole thing here ... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sol/ukfs_spor...edition=ukfs&mediaformat=bb_rm_&start=&order=
