I was thinking this morning about our last Premiership adventure - if you can call it that - in 1999/00 when we got the grand total of 24 points, and was trying to work out whether I enjoyed that season more than this season. All in all despite our cup run this season I think i enjoyed our previous season in this league rather than our current one. The best thing about 1999 was that we had two great victories (Liverpool & Chelsea) and everything was new, where as this year we've not done anything really at all. In fact so far we've only won half the amount of games we won back then. If it wasn't for the cup run this season would be one of the worst ever. So what is better 1999/00 or 2006/07?
'one of the worst ever' - I think that's a little strong. I mean, is a medicocre season in a lower division better than a really bad season in the top flight?
