What to do about the League cup

I refuse to call it whatever it's named now.

It's obvious with the draw fiascos that the League don't give a **** about it.
It's obvious with the turnouts that the fans of Premier League clubs don't give a ****.
It's obvious from performances that player of Premier League teams don't give a ****.

Either we need to have Prem teams enter later like those in Europe do or we have Prem teams fielding under 25 players or something.

Definitely in need of a name change I think!
Not sure I can face next year,mind you I've said that for the last four years.

 

I don't know what but something needs to be done. Not a fan of the seeded draw at all and the ludicrous draws definitely hasn't helped it.

The trickle of entry of Premier League teams doesn't help

In all seriousness I think if the League cup is dumped, we could include all UK teams in the FA cup.

 

They should scrap it & all previous winners should be deleted from the records.

 

They should rename it the Beijing Invitation Cup.

 

The correct answer here I fear,is nothing.This is because it has nothing to do with us given our recent attempts.

Make it an Alice in Wonderland egg cup and I may stop sulking and resume a modicum of interest.

 

Wonder if it would help if we played later rounds abroad ? It looks like it is just a matter of time before a premier game is abroad, think letting Scottish teams in would be great, some great away trips

 

I don't really understand the point of the League cup. We already have an undervalued cup competition, why do we need another one?
