West Ham are probably the only team he dislikes as much as Watford though! Am now less confident for this match. We need a Crooks or Merson type to restore my faith.
i normally watch via a generally reliable(ish) source, but am going out to see how much larger /crap food I can consume in a 12 hour period. If I can avoid hearing the score are whole games repeated anywhere (sky etc)?
Hi all. WH fan here looking forward to a good game today, should be close. By the way, I see a lot of comments here saying how we got rid of Quina. He was offered a new contract but didn't want to stay. We were gutted! Good luck today - respect.
Shouldn’t have dropped Quina. Good performances need to be rewarded. If things go wrong today Gracia’s brought his own stick for us to beat him with.
Inevitable after Gracia's comments during the week about protecting him. There will be a lot of expectations and extra pressure on Quina with it being against West Ham.
Disappointed that Quina has been dropped. Capoue has been our best midfielder all season but Quina has been our best midfielder in all the games he’s started. Would have liked to see Javi play a midfield 3 of Quina, Capoue and Doucouré, with Pereyra and Deulofeu out wide, and Success/Deeney up front. Oh well, prove me wrong Javi.
We finally get a win in like 5 games and he changes it up back to a lineup which hasnt got us the results we've needed. This is the problem I have with Gracia... Quina, the standout player, dropped... Makes very little sense that we've gone for the same lineup as the one that did sweet fckall away against a relatively poor Leicester side. Fair enough, Capoue has been an important player for us but dropping Quina is the equivalent of Mazzarri dropping Doucoure. Hoping Javi proves me horribly wrong here
I think I understand why he's dropped Quina...he might try and overdo it and be over eager. Situations like this, a young player might play the occasion rather than the game.
Quina on the bench is disappointing but he’s been replaced by our best midfielder this season so far plus we have a lot of games to play in a short space of time. I imagine that we will see the midfield pack shuffled over the next few games especially with Cleverley returning as well.
