The day started off with the 'South Coast Orns Express' rolling into Poole/Bournemouth area between 8:30-9:00 to collect a few of our lads, before picking GscottW up at Southampton and then myself at Winchester (you can tell who lives in the nice part of the South Coast ;D )

The beer was flowing very early, and we were sitting next to 3 West Ham lads on the way up to Waterloo...good hearted banter was exchanged on the journey up, culmulating in sharing a drink at a pub just outside Waterloo Station!

We then moved on to Aldgate East to go to the Brown Bear Pub! We heard there was going to be a good turn out of old boys and new generation and this was certainly the case! Got to the BB by about 12 to stick the flag up in the pub, down a few more beers and watch the Scum get destroyed by a team we comfortably beat in the week ;D !

Was good to meet Arthur Daley and Crazy Legz, whom i've been meaning to meet up with for a while now!

Plenty of singing inside the pub (cracking pub to), and full of lads!

We made our way to the ground around about 2:30 from the BB, but GscottW had someone managed to have someone elses jacket on! (I have no idea how he does it  ;D ) so naturally we were now late for the game, cheers Guy :D !

Our lateness was compounded further by London Underground not being able to organise a Pish up in a brewery! Fancy closing a line to Upton Park on a match day and not laying on other trains to that area!? So we had to get off at Plaistow, missing the opening 25 minutes of the match!

The atmosphere inside was a joy, and just looking around the crowd we could see the lads from the Brown Bear! It's no coincidence that the best atmosphere at Watford games comes when everyone is standing up and singing! Great stuff, a brilliant sight to see 4,000 Watford standing up and singing non-stop!

After the game we decided to be very brave/stupid (either way you look at it really) and 7 of us visited the home pub (Queens or something like that), only to be promptly told to 'f**k off' by a few chavy Wet Pam lads, we decided to stay and have a pint anyway in a pub packed with about 300 West Ham...it was abit uncomfortable but quite amusing to take a liberty in their pub anyway ;D !

On the way back to Waterloo we decided to have a look at a pub at Liverpool street, and it was packed with Southend boys in there! Top bunch, and we had a good laugh...moments like these make me miss the lower leagues and the banter with proper football supporters from proper little clubs!

We got back to Waterloo about 7:30 and caught the 7:40 home to the South Coast! A great day out all in all with a memorable (rare) win at Wet Pam!
