The rules weren't applied. You could get tickets without having a purchase record from this season, when according to the rules that wasn't allowed until Tuesday.

Wembley could fit in another couple of hundred fans if they let people sit on cushions behind the goals?

West Ham were given an extra 500 last year but that isn't a lot and I am not sure what their original allocation was.

There are 17,000 Club Wembley tickets so once you take those out of the equation only leaves 5,000 but bear in mind a chunk of that is taken up by the segregation netting.

Cannot wait. This work week is going to drag but come Saturday we have Watford B in the CL Final, Monaco GP Sunday and the BIG one Monday...

Can't anyone without a ticket steam in on a wheelchair or do you need a disabled badge?

I went on one of those sites to have a look and there are plenty of tickets in both Palace and Watford areas. Unless they're lying, how on earth do they get so many? Especially as you had to have a season ticket/have gone to games to get tickets (in theory)

More Tickets from FL for Us at Wembely?

Seeing as Watford FC sold tickets in a fair way and sold out before all priorities went live surely we should get first dibs on more tickets over palarse who just sold tickets to anyone (touts) who cared buy a £25 membership?

We took 38k last time easily so the demand is surely there.

Time for the FL to reward good management of ticket sales by the club.

Wembley will be ours next Monday. :sign15:

Just read on the WML that some lads have got in before with a borrowed wheelchair!! Amazing idea to get in.

Borrow one from the local hospital and get a mate to wheel you in - easy.

    Tickets available now.

    COYH!!

As much as I admire your optimism Palace sold out far more quickly and looking at their forums many were trying to buy tickets in our end when their allocation ran out so fully expect them to have more fans in the ground than us. Be interesting to see who the Club Wembley guy's will be supporting.... imagine Chelsea supporters will be following us because of Chalobah and Zola and Arsenal because of Almunia.

Palarse only sold out quickly as they went on sale the say before us AND it was essentially on general sale from the start - if you bought a £25 membership then you could get a ticket no questions asked - no buying history. Hence they should not get anymore as they truthfully dont know who has these tickets.

I know quite a few Watford lads in Club Wembley already - freebies through business and friends. I think you may be more than a little surprised!
I agree that most will support us as the proper football playing club!!

As has been said before, due to them not getting the community shield this year they were offered this game instead.

    not true

It is a shame for those who do not have tickets, but Watford FC and Ticketmaster must take some of the blame.

Watford FC clearly set out their policy for buying tickets, yet anyone who had a Fan ID or buying history could buy tickets from Friday the 17th. The buying policy went out of the window. How can that be fair and honest?

I freely admit that due to my travels, l did not get to see Watford this season. On going online Friday, l was able to buy tickets, so l went ahead and bought two. Even though the policy stated i would only be able to buy a ticket from Tuesday 21st.
I logged on again on Saturday 18th and was able to buy two more tickets. So what happened to the buying policy?
Palace had a £25 membership issue and then you could buy your tickets regardless if you had ever seen them play. Yet Watford are just as much to blame when their own fans have failed to get tickets.
I am not '*****ing' about a lack of tickets . I bought 4 which have gone to good people. My complaint is about fairness to all.
Do not advertise a policy and then go against that policy and create a 'free for all'.

It is a shame for those that don't but like with every event, people have to miss out as there is a capacity. I couldn't be bothered with the rest of you post, because quite frankly, it wasn't true as I know people that have been season ticket holders in the past with fan IDs and weren't able to get tickets at all because they hadn't been to a game this season due to work commitments that can't be changed. Also, your story for getting 4? Was this on the same ID as I'd go as far as saying that was rubbish too as I was checking if I could do the same on Saturday.

I have to point out that you say 'anyone' but it wasn't anyone. I tried more than once between Weds and Friday, even though I wasn't eligible until Saturday, for the very reason you did - to chance my arm. And the system wouldn't let me in once. I had to wait until bang on 10am Saturday. It does however seem that once sales open on Saturday morning that the system had a glitch where it let people with valid Fan IDs assign tickets to people with non-valid ones.

I logged in several times during the week and tried to do get some additional tickets on top of my allocation, which it wouldn't let me do. I assigned another fan ID to my account but because they hadn't attended any games it wouldn't let me buy any tickets. i must have tried a dozen times.

The system clearly worked 99% of the time

Not sure if this has already been done (had a quick search back through recent posts) but if you've still got your ticket stub from Monday, look closely - mine says

    "Leicester City / Watford"

    is everybody else's the same?

Yes, all are the same. Was the Watford or Leicester allocation. Printed before the Semi-final.

so despite paying a fortune for the ticket, plus a handling fee plus a booking fee they couldn't even get the teams right!

...they were printed before the semi-final. Why are we even still talking about the ticket or Wembley anyway?

They were right - they said Watford/Leicester and the others said Brighton/Palarse. Back in 1999 my Wembley ticket said Birmingham/Watford. What's the problem? I'm hardly going to be framing mine.
