Just hope Dietmar Hamman doesn't get a late recall! I hope we play Scotland at Wembley at some point as well because those games are special and it has been a few years since the last one. Perhaps the continued decline of England's team mean that the home international could be a possiblity again, as i know there has been some talk of Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland playing some. I used to enjoy the old home international games (was it called the Rous Cup or something like that?)
I have mixed memories about the old Wembley , my Fathers friends used to descend on Northwood, the house was always full that weekend, all I can recall is that they played golf at Moor Park on the Friday, and then went on the lash. First England V Scotland game was 1973 and went to every game until it was stopped, in 1977 there was an invasion and I never saw one England Fan, before or after the game. Good times but they will never return.
