The Baggies are believed to be willing to pay £3million for the 22-year-old, who has turned down a new contract at Hillsbrough. at a million he was worth going for at 3 never. The wages that would follow a £3m player are probebly 15 to 20k a week, do we want to be paying that sort of money for someone that although we know is championship standard is not proven at a higher level where we're aiming ?
The only way Brunt will come here is if Hendo forms part of the deal!!! Do we want that??? I'd say no we keep Hendo which gives us a second attacking option, and yes this is from someone who things we abandon hoofball!!!
He's got an ego the size of Norfolk, and now has a pricetag to match. £3m is outrageous. I was thinking a cool mil was stretching it. Yet more over-hyped players crawling out from poorer teams.
