exactly. he has to be given a chance to prove himself, otherwise its a pointless buy. Personally i think that mcanuff is easliy good enough for this level so should be given his chance
Give Jobi a chance by all means but don't leave the squad short of wingers just because you feel sorry for him, if he's good enough he will compete for a place, we do need another winger and Routledge is quality.
Routledge plays on the right so more comp for Smith. McAnuff is a left winger. so whats the fuss about? :]] Im sure Wayne could do a good job for us.
McAnuff is right footed and pretty much 50/50 left and right winger I think. Smithy and Routledge are good on both wings as well. We need three good wingers. But what we need most of all after Johnson was recalled is a set piece taker.
get him in if we can. theres no problem having competition for places and though i agree mcanuff needs a chance it shouldn't be a forgone conclusion that hes going to play

Muff should be given the chance to prove himself first , He's not really had the time to prove himself yet due to Johnson being so good. I'd still like to see AIDY put in a bid for Johnson in the January transfer window , you never know what will happen .
