    Rooney's first column appears in the paper's rather thin sports section today. It's a very good read.

    No doubt the grammar has been tidied up a bit, but he has interesting things to say. He's often been written off as a thicko for his background and lack of education, but people at his clubs seem to have appreciated his football intelligence and so far he's done well as a coach at Derby.

    Yeah I read that too. Pretty interesting - not a fan of the beard look he has gone for, but I guess Coleen doesn't mind.
