Why couldn't you celebrate the goals? It's a free country! Just wear a 'Je suis Charlie' t-shirt and go for it. I do it all the time in Jockland.

Have you got a close up of the bald, tubby bloke that was near me who found it necessary to scream "c*nt, c*nt, c*nt, c*nt, c*nt, c*nt,c*nt, c*nt, c*nt, c*nt, c*nt, c*nt, repeat" every time Gray came near the away end?

I'd like to nominate him for a community award, and i mean care in the community...

    First post has been updated.

I might not be able to make the game on saturday as I may be on a spa weekend with my girlfriend for our 5 year anniversary.

If anyone is anywhere near the half way line and/or is able to take a picture of the away fans in a similar way to me, could they please post it in this thread for me incase im not there and not able to! Obviously not the end of the world if no one is able to, it just means that there will be 1 team missing from the pictures of all of our home games this season.

Thank you in advance if anyone remembers to take a picture for me.

I hate that flippin bulldog power drink banner. No class. The Vic rd stand looked so much better before.

They brought the numbers but only finally broke out into a song when they got the penalty.
Our ground may be bad for acoustics but I was staggered at how quiet they were.

Would be more acceptable if the banner was in a yellow/black/red scheme in keeping with the club.

They were the best away fans i've seen for a while at the Vic. Non-stop singing and chanting throughout.

It always surprises me that when people pay so much for their kid to be a mascot that they take the "momentous" photos with a bl**dy phone. Don't people have cameras anymore?
When one of my own kids was a mascot the club photographer wanted a small fortune for the pictures he took, and that was after paying out a fair amount in the first place.

No is the answer. I used to work for a large well know camera manufacturer and got out just at the right time. The market went from zero to massive and back to zero again in the space of ten years.

Why buy a camera when, unless you're spending hundreds on a semi-professional standard one, those on most new mobile phones are often as good as normal ones, or even better.

Many also automatically adjust settings so you don't need to know how to, so a picture on a mobile may produce a better photo (whilst technically being a worse camera), as well as being much more convenient.

If all you're doing is putting a pitcture of little Tarquin up on Facepage then a mobile phone camera is fine. If you want to print the images out to a decent size, quality or take a perfect picture in difficult conditions you need a decent lens, sensor and processor. A good £50 dedicated compact digital camera will far outperform any mobile phone camera. The digital pokery used to "correct" for poor picture quality is bloody awful when the results are inspected propoerly. It's just sheer convenice that stops people carrying compact cameras about. People get wrapped up in specs when then don't understand that a 5MPixel camera with quality lens and sensor will outpuerfrom a cheap 10 Mpixel mobile phone camera. Cheap tiny plastic lenses can not covey the image resolution to the sensor so all you're getting is large files for no reason with digital processing artifacts thrown in to make the images subjectively acceptable

Pet hate of the day? People shooting videos in portrait mode.

Climbs down off soapbox. As you were gentlemen.

Whether or not they were noisy their numbers were a bit naff compared to all of Millwall, Brentford and Charlton.

This is the worst thing in the world. I work for the University's Sports Federation and am making a montage video for the Sports Awards, meaning I have to go and film EVERY team at the Uni, all presidents have been contacted about getting hold of some footage from each team, and rowing and netball have both sent me videos which are filmed in portrait. It makes me feel ****ing sick and I refuse to use them

Disappointing number for one of their most local away matches but considering they knew they were going to play a weakened team I can understand why many of their fans may have stayed away.
