Well done Sky. I now no longer need to go to Anfield. ****ERS

Because Leicester will play on the Saturday instead to allow them extra preparation time and Man City will be allowed an extra day's rest like all Europa clubs have and play on the Sunday. These games will also be on TV so would clash otherwise.

Why didn't Sky just wait till after the Champions league draw/Man City's qualifier?>

Guess that would require common sense...

At least it gives fans a bit of notice of changes beforehand. I am sure there is a rule where they have to be announced a certain period before as well.

    Triple date for Sky

Everton 10th December - Moved forward to 12:30pm

Palace 26th December - Moved forward to 12:30pm

    Spurs - Now 1st January at 1:30pm

Means Stoke away game is put back till 3rd now.

Maybe a bit of re-arranging for Christmas/New Year!

Can we do it on a cold and wet evening in Stoke though?

Looks like we get home games televised because we're seen as the underdogs.

I'd much rather get to see away matches televised legally and home schedules not messed around, but that I suppose is life.

It means they get our 8 game requirement out of the way before the games start becoming important and they can show the top 4 every week.

They will discuss Liverpool for 30 minutes/an hour before all these games anyway.

As mentioned always prefer away games to be on TV but saying that this suits me quite well as I probably won't be able to afford/justify going to a game after the Hull match until the New Year.

Perhaps we are nice and easy for the Sky crews to get to over the festive period too so they can all get home nice and quickly.

It does make me laugh you get half moaning that 'Sky hate us' and the other half moaning about Sky putting us on TV.

So that's 3 away fixtures I've not been able to go to because of TV. Burnley, Boro & now Stoke. *******s. Although with hindsight, pleased not to have made it to Burnley!

****ing stupid having a game on new years day at 1. I certainly won't be in a fit state to leave my house.

  14. Meh!

    Meh! Pre-Dictator

It doesn't really matter about the being on Sky bit as most games are watchable anyway no matter whether home or away, it's the sh!tty early KO times that become annoying.

Bugger - didn't pick up on that! I'll probably still be drunk at 1.30pm on new years day!

I think there is more than a little truth in this......on the other hand Hull (twice) and Boro have home televised matches in the festive period!

I won't have even got back to my house by that time. Hopefully I can stop off at a bar like a K N O B B E R after my traditional NYE rave in London to watch the inevitable and now traditional Spurs defeat.

Lunchtime on Boxing Day and New Year's Day, that's tradition reasserting itself.

Or cold and snowy for that matter.
How many of our boys will be wearing gloves in either case I wonder? (apart from Gomes, obviously)

Must have pretty much used up all our allocation of TV games now?

Was that our only tv pick in the latest lot? That must be 7 or 8 home games moved this season. Clearly a favourite with the TV crews to ensure being home at a decent time.
