I stayed up last night to watch the news on both channels (rebel I know) and guess what? Itv had around 10 secs (showing red card and fourth goal) whereas on BBC I couldn't find anything, even on the 'local' news. I couldn't help but think were Liverpool playing they would have laid on a special MOTD

 

I presumed it was going to be on match of the day. Sure there have been other Monday night games this year, do they get shown on the Saturday lunchtime show instead?

 

So last night was my littlest one's first match. I felt that the "...don't get upset at the result as they have some very good players..." talk as we were walking down Vicarage Road was necessary at the time...

 

I'm pretty sure they will show very brief highlights on Saturday's MoTD just before showing our highlights v West Ham. I'm pretty sure that's what they've done in the past when there's been a Monday game.

Well that was some completely bias one sided bull carp if I ever did see.

I'm sure we had a massive sustained amount of pressure for about 20 minutes but from those highlights we barely got in their half the whole game.

And you wonder why armchair supporters have an odd perspective of things!

 

Our game got pretty much as much coverage as it deserved.

Lampard was a breath of fresh air on the show though. Gave some really good opinion and insight on all the matches.

Much more interesting than the usual pundits.

 

Can’t believe how motd Feb goal of the month did not include any of ours against Chelsea (but did include Hazard’s) or Deeney’s goal against Everton. I hate the bbc

I've never understood why shots from distance are always considered better than well constructed goals.

Let's face it, most shots from outside the box miss and those that go in are as much luck as anything.

Janmaat's goal was a thing of beauty. Close control, lovely layoff from Pereyra and a cool finish. At least 3-4 skillful touches compared to Hazard's one.

It doesn't make sense to me but I don't think it's an anti Watford thing though.
