What gets me is that 2 of them have never managed, Thomson was an assistant and Merson couldn't do the Walsall job yet they take the micky out of a coach that has won promotions, managed in some of the top leagues in the world including champions league and won a European trophy.

If it was them taking the pee out of QSF's interview in what to him is a a foreign language they should take a look at themselves. Merson has problems stringing a sentence together in his native tongue and his attempts at pronouncing names of players from abroad is a joke,

 

Rod Liddle

I came across his opinion piece in the paper today. Don't know anything about the bloke, so it might be unfair of me to pass judgement, but he does not appear to be a decent sports journalist. I don't know how to link the article, but the gist of it is that he believes Flores will be sacked shortly. I am not sure if he is one of those comedic journalist, rather than a serious sports journalist, but the article is not informed, witty, funny, sensible or good. I may have the completely wrong view on this guy, and this article may have just been a rush job as he just missed the mark for this week's effort and it falls far short of his usual high standards.

I've read the first couple of paragraphs and I'd certainly not be tempted to pay the £12 a month it costs to read more. IF he's trolling for attention then it's not very good. If he's not trolling, he's a moron.

i'm not sure what qualifies any of these numpties to have 'Expert' on their cv. Some may be clever wordsmiths but none have any degree of insight into the club.

Does anyone ever remember seeing any of them having a beer with fans before the game, to really get a feel for how we tick? Not a chance.

They arrive in a protective wrapper, barricade themselves inside a sterile bubble, expel verbal diarrhoea for 90 minutes and then get chauffeured away at the end.

I think Rod needs a new job, he's not very good at his current one.

 

On form, he is a very clever, ultra sardonic polemicist and pretty brave with it. He does have a blind spot where football is concerned, but he's not alone in that.

 

He has looked at the number of managers we have had together with the number of players we have signed and come up with the conclusion 2+2 =5 he really knows nothing about us except we aren't his beloved division one team!

 

I'd never heard of the guy before but after reading 2 or 3 paragraphs of this tosh I'm going to actively avoid anything with his name on it. I'm sure he's gutted about that so ha, **** you Rod.

As someone posted earlier he usually spouts most of his drivel about football and from memory tipped Blackburn to win last season.
