Bachmann looks as if he has no shorts on in the vid (due to the colour). I was going to suggest he saves that type of carry on until he gets transferred to Everton.

Only when we go to Manchester City, who will eat with chips and peas. At FT our players will have to wash up as punishment for another totally statue-esque display against the team
we are well and truly terrified of.

They do that every season to play with our feelings. Anyone of us would love to see him over Gray given the chance. Unproven maybe at the highest level but he is still clearly loved at Watford and I for one
would welcome him back. Problem is, we have a surplus of strikers right now. Bin off Success and Gray/Perica is the only way we could slot him in.

Yes, but also no; the types of adhesive used for football shirts leave horrible, horrible marks when ironed/washed off. I wouldn't ever recommend trying it yourself.

This is why clubs who undergo a change of sponsor during a season often just place a huge rectangular sticker with the new partner over the old one. To give a recent example, West Ham did it when Alpari went bust and Betway came in during 2014/2015.

I like the general hoop design. It is pretty groundbreaking for us, going with the hoops. Shame they couldn't continue round the back, though, but nothing to get upset about. It's a football shirt, with a good overall appearance.

Video, as someone else said, is a bit of harmless fun.

Remember the old days when everything was a variation of the same basic plain yellow shirt, with the odd raging debate over the colour of the shorts, socks, or collars. Times have changed.

Absolutely rancid yet people will still spend 50 quid on it.

This must be punishment for not backing the new logo.

Think the kit is really quite nice. Certainly a lot better than last year’s hideous offering. But also undermined a bit by the size and style of the Stake logo. GK kit looks superb too.

Any time I buy a kit we seem to get relegated. So I'll hold off this year in that case (luckily it looks cr@p).

Yes. I almost tagged you. Although I don’t think it’s worse than 138. Maybe a bit worse than Sportsbet.io. But I didn’t like any of them.

Last season's was designed to shock/surprise and many didn't initially like it, however it was quite a nice design and I liked it after a few weeks. I can't say the same about this new one, it is bad even before the discussion about the sponsor.

They designed it on Zoom and without being able to hold it in their hands forgot that kits have a front and back.

Good to see we're partnering with yet another betting company. Gambling benefits everyone and alongside smoking and drinking is one of life's great harmless pleasures

Feels like we only have a decent sponsor once every 10 years, the last one in my opinion was Football Manager (12-13), then the one before that was Toshiba.

I think the kit looks good!

As for the sponsor, I've no clue about them or Bitcoin, but quite a few on here do not seem to keen on them.

Do I like the gambling sponsor? No.

Do I recognise Watford has been hard hit by COVID and had to make a difficult decision based on financial realities? Yes.

Do I think our season ticket holders would be prepared to pay an extra £100 or £150 for their season ticket, if it meant no gambling sponsor? Not a chance in hell.

If you don't like the gambling sponsor, what're you doing to find another couple million pounds in revenue for the club?

I mean, we've only had gambling sponsors for 6 of the last 8 years. I'd have thought people were used to it by now. They're pretty much an irrelevance anyway. A load of made up fly-by-night bookies from abroad that hand over a lovely big cheque and then go pop within a few years. It's not like our brainwashed teenage supporters are rushing into the Sportsbet.io or 138.com shop to bung a few quid on the nags on the sly the day they turn 18. I'd be far more bothered if it was a high street gambling company on the front.

Most of us have been trying to force Deeney and Gray out the door for years which would cover it.

It’s on the owner if he’d rather accept the Dogecoin than get rid of the Doge$hit.

In all seriousness, even had we come through the pandemic in rude financial health and have money to splash around, I highly suspect the club would have signed this deal anyway. ‘Plugging a financial hole’ is just an easy sell.

It was good to see Troost-Ekong made to sit in the stands though. Hopefully a new centre back incoming.

You forgot prostitution. One enlightened day we’ll be sponsored by a chain of brothels backed by one of the investors from Dragon’s Den. Cue dragon where are you getting your prostitutes from? The UK? Very noble, but I can help you explore cheaper options.

You will upset a few fans with your comment.
The righteous season ticket holders always think they deserve more.

I don't care who the sponsors are. They are shelling out money Watford desperately need.
I think the kit looks ok. Much better that last seasons and far better than the black/yellow halves kit.
It is a change and a change for the good.
