Colour debate; blue or purple? Looks more purple to me. I like it.

 

I prefer this to the home shirt.

 

Might be a case that all players are pictured in it - but it’s curious that the official Instagram has used a picture of Prodl wearing it. Hint that he’s part of the plans?

 

I usually purchase the kits for my kids, I get that the Sponsorship deal is worth big bucks but it leaves the kids shirts looking a little bit plain. I will have to see what the eldest thinks when he sees them up close

Nice home kit, another atrocious change kit.

Nothing about it says Watford.

Why can't we follow a theme instead of randomly picking colours each year? Or perhaps the theme is being random?

 

If the club thinks that's navy blue, expect the Navy to have something to say about it.

 

I think a rehash of last years home kit - but white stripes on a blue shirt would have looked better - nothing against the blue in itself, but the green was very distinctive.

 

Almost like we ran out of time trying to decide and said '**** **** ****, just choose that one, the fans are mugs enough to design a badge for free, they'll buy this cheapo ****.'

This summer hasn't 'been bits' as some clown on Twitter has claimed, its been amateur hour.

 

Latest video on IG stories is the players doing the Sky Sports ‘walk towards the camera’ thing. From the video the kit has a sleeve sponsor that is a big white circle with black logo - can’t make it out though as it’s barely visible.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s JD Sports though as per Bournemouth and Brighton last season.

 

Crap. Any chance of it even being good in a classy, understated way is completely ruined by that ridiculous sponsor as well.

I’m actually embarrassed for all the people in the replies to that tweet falling over themselves to post tired, ****** memes to say how much they like it.

 

Have to agree. It's not a terrible shirt, but it's just something off the peg. Kitlocker are selling them for £16.46 as Grover pointed out. The only difference is a Watford badge. The sponsor logo is not something a fan should pay for, it's should be the other way around.

 

Recreating the 98/99 away (plus 97/98 against Fulham) kit with silver and blue + red trim would have been a nice away kit with a retro touch.

 

Or cut around this and stitch on...

Nope. That goes on the right arm as per the picture with Hughes from IG stories. Look at the video of Doucoure walking towards the camera and you’ll see the sponsor I’m talking about is on the left arm (as per the last two seasons) and larger than the PL badge.

I’d screenshot it if I was talented enough to know how.

EDIT: They’ve now deleted the video of Doucoure. Most likely realising their mistake and not having announced the sleeve sponsor yet.

On another note that away kit is vile.

 

Nah, it almost seems like clubs do that on purpose to take the piss, almost every kit shoot the world over has at least one controversial player who's supposedly guaranteed to be out the door. Real's this year had Bale in it ffs.

On a sidenote, Real this season are an example of how you do actually do a navy away kit.

 

Seems an ok away kit. Typical of the latest trend for 90's looking retro kits. Seen far worse.

When we say towards the end of the season that our players look like they are on the beach already.. they really will!

 

If the media didn’t mix us up with Wolves often enough - the away template is the same as the new Wolves home shirt.

 

Why does Doucoure change in to a middle-aged white woman half way through the video? If it's a transfer swap then Gino really has lost the plot .

 

I'm upset that I did not get a free away shirt. I did a very nice thing in giving my fan ID to @Knight GT , so that he could take his son to see Watford get spanked at Wembley. I'm upset that my lovely club did not recognise this. These are dark times.
