I have no worries about a shocking ref decision helping us to beat Stoke - those tossers owe us about 5
Seen the first goal on hawkeye and its not even close. Abysmal officiating. Great awareness from Pedro to bundle the ball in to the net knowing it would be given.
NEVER. EVER. Feel sorry for Stoke. They have played anti football for 10+ years and have constantly niggled and cheated their way to points. Can't stand them and will never feel bad over any decision against them. They also have that ******** James Maclean - enough said
Obviously it was a joke goal, but it was a joke of a decision not to give Bournemouth at least one Red card which cost us two points. Thankfully in a league without VAR these things all even themselves out.
Joe Biden winning the US Election with some last minute state victories. Joe Biden lives in Wilmington, Delaware. Wilmington is twinned with Watford. Coincidence? I think not.
Bibs won 6-5. I played ****, but managed two assists, the most interceptions and an XG of 2.1. Seriously, I was playing exactly like Cleverley. Missed every mid range-long pass and miscontrolled one ball when clean through. It was an uncanny TC impression from the Moog. How did Watford do?
Yeah and your "analysis" in trying to defend him is still nonsense - his passing accuracy is worse because he's not very good with the ball. It's clear.
It looked like the ref was staring at his goal watch and didn’t see Pedro push the goalie over the line. His watched then buzzed and he gave the goal.
Don't get me started on that - that uber **** Noel Hunt celebrated like he had won the World Cup, knowing full well that it was no goal. Lost all respect for Coppell after that - decent bloke who knew full well his team had scored a goal that should not have been and then claimed he didn't know until half time. Even if true, let us score straight after HT - weak as piss
It's the inverse of the villa one, where it went over but the watch didn't buzz. Genuinely two of the most incorrect calls you could imagine. If the ref was "looking" at his watch then he is a **** ref and it doesntmake the decision better.
It was to see someone have a shot and for another to be running in and well "scoring" Maybe the was in such shock. I though the 4th official was going to ask him to disallow it - is that allowed?
For the WeeWee boys from Stoke board: said: "Shocking refereeing aside, Watford were by far the best team for most of the game and on that performance would be my favourite for finishing in top spot...the fact that, if their 1st had rightly been ruled out, we could have left with all 3 points shows we aren't too far off the pace, IMO."
Here's my better than Wobby ratings: Foster 7-Not at fault for either goal Kiko 6-Stoke made him use his left more than any other side this year and he was less effective Ken-8-The King is back.Lots of lovely crosses.Perica and/or Deeney will score plenty this season. Willmot 5-Another dodgy display. He needs some serious coaching. Kabbs 5-Indecision ruled Cathcart 5-The final part of the ineffective trio. All are uncomfortable with the ball and poor when pressed.William has to return. Cleverley 6-Better than recent displays and a nice assist, although Pedro should get that! Capoue 7-Some nice passes particularly in the second half and a little more vocal. An encouraging display which hints at more to come sooner rather than later. Chabbs 6-Another yellow, lots of endeavour but not enough end product. Pedro 7-Another pen and a lovely foul assist for the first. His movement is really good and he looks a much better prospect than Sarr. Sarr 7-A good second half and took the winner well.More support from the wing backs seemed to give him more confidence going forward. The subs didn't do enough to be worthy of a rating. Ivic 8-The instructions to the wing backs to be more offensive in the second half won us the game. Overall we are far from the finished article but we are in a great position.Another 3 points before the break and we will then really kick on. I can see us being top before Christmas and then it will be up to the board to keep the players that we need to achieve promotion.
Had to watch the Stoke stream after Hive went down. Their commentators were claiming they had been the better side and deserved to win. Utter balls.
