I've supported Watford for 40 years now and I can truthfully say today has been one of my happiest and proudest days doing so. After 14 straight defeats, or however many it was, it's great to finally beat United. It's also terrific to get a win against one of the big boys, and to now total 7 points from what some feared would be a pointless opening five matches. It is to be hoped that those who've spent the last few weeks pontificating on how we would never win games set up as we are, or criticising every move made or not made by the manager (I bet they were at it again today when Zuniga came on!) will have the good grace to acknowledge what a terrific 8 days it's been. Lots of contenders for MOTM but l give it to Mr Oliver. Didn`t blow his whistle once incorrectly. Even helped Deeney up after booking him - something you don't see every day.
