Good. He needs first team football - at least by going to the scum he knows a couple of the players (Spring, Langley) so will settle quickly and they need a centreback so he will play. It's only for a month. He'll be back in April ready to restart his career with us.
I have a vote, I wish to use it to express my view. Your poll options are loaded, therefore carp. Consider my ballot paper SPOILED
Bad IMHO. The guy needs a loan move without doubt, however i would have sent him to a 1001 other clubs before considering the Scum or Qphahaha. Clarke is very friendly with Springey and his family outside of the game so that may have been a factor also in the decision.
Luton not ideal choice............. but what the hell, as long as he gets some games under his belt and hopefully comes back fit and ready to go, I don't really care who he plays for :sign12:
are watford loseing it we sell one of are players to them and now we give are center back to them on loan we are ment to hate them not fecking help them out its a joke i would rather him go and help leeds stay up than scum town shocking move
Coll, the fans are meant to hate them, WFC as a football club don't have a rivalry just the fans. As hartvix said in another thread, there's no such thing as rival clubs, just rival fans.
and rival bookies CC will of course then become a hero amongst the masses of s.c.u.m haters when he scores 3 own goals and causes their demise to fizzy lge 1.
PaddingtonsYellowArmy i hope your right mate i would hate to think a watford player will help them stay up
Howver there are many wfc fans who saying going down doesn't bother them because they want to play looshyte next season. What i do feel would be bad, either way if looshyte stay up or go down, is that CC doesn't get booed etc by sections of our fans when he does come back.
I would be extremely interested to know how many people have decided the move is a bad thing solely on the basis that it's Luton, rather than say, the best thing for the player.
He could of gone to a number of other clubs. Im sure there are a few london teams who would have had him.
So he'll be in out first team next season and people can't complain because he is a good championship player.
I say again, on what basis are you saying that there were other London area clubs interested in him? Luton were obviously the only viable local club.
i know you are PC correct, but thats an extreme you are taking it too. Do not spell the name correctly, please. Or maybe in french - Le Bog FC.
I know the answer to that one Bang bang.. Because all the pubs in lootown (le bog fc) a normal person wouldn't be seen dead in any of them. Its a rehab month Disclaimer - purely for humour Clarke.
good, so what if he does help luton, the best rivalrys are always the close ones, -why else are man u bigger rivals with liverpoool than man city? in fact when we are established in the top 10 i would even wan them to come up, (but not happily) - nad with less points than we did. as long as they arent better than us.
Wrong Not according to Aidy's article on the club site :rolleye1: Other clubs showed an intrest, but only Luton made a firm bid So aidy shipped him out to get him match fit asap :angel3:
Gerrup Sons how DO! i think people studyin at tod uni shouldnt have time to post messages on tod forums! And i also think that danielb136 is a right loser that needs to get a grip. Gotta go now need to get the sausage out ma DVD player . See Thee later
good as he needs the match fitness its luton thats crap but if they were the only team who came in with a firm offer for him then thats the way the cokie crumbles
he is SCUM will never clap him again if he ever puts a watford shirt back on i would be pleased if he did;nt
Good move. It's local, as pointed out he has friends there and he will be able to show his passion for the game. Gives him a chance to get to match fitness without risking our results. He could of course be another agent on a mission to bring them down.
I would imagine that ALL of the people who have said it's a bad thing have done so on the basis that it's Luton and not because they think Carlisle would benefit more from a month in our reserves.
