In total: David Navarro of Valencia banned for 7 months in Europe competition, with UEFA asking FIFA to make this a total worldwide domestic match ban. Carlos Marchena of Valencia banned for 4 matches. Inter's Ivan Cordoba (3), Julio Cruz (2) and Nicolas Burdisso (6) also banned for (x) games. Both clubs fined £106,000 each. Pretty hefty stuff by UEFA's usual standards!
As you say a bit tougher than the norm from UEFA. Surprised there are not more being punished following the tunnel / dressing room fracas.
Typical I think they have got off light, if they had been english clubs the punishment would have been far worse :rant: :rant: :rant:
