I was at the 2nd leg of the mens* and womens* Hockey Olympic qualifiers yesterday and I thought I recognised the bloke hanging around the Chilean team: From the beeb (and if you think lazy BBC journalism is just for the footy they're still banging on about the girl's Olympic gold -winning team even though half of the team retired from international duty immediately after receiving their medals...): FWIW The Chilean girls were pretty much outclassed (the 13 place difference in world rankings was pretty evident). The 9-3 aggregate score for the men flattered team GB as the Malaysians were very skilled as their set pieces (penalty/short corners) were deadly. I did try to get a candid shot of team GB's bottoms but my phone camera isn't that good, the wind was blowing and their skort design prevents this happening: *Grammar Nazis: dative case as it's for the men and for the women.
The risk of meeting any of you lot is too great so I stay away. Besides it's bad enough having to listen to it on 3CR why would I want to actually make an effort and go that *****?
