Haha have you heard Pep talk about him?! There's not a chance in hell he's getting sold!! Especially not for £10 million!
As well as ourselves... http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/08/0...get-sheyi-ojo-holding-out-for-premier-league/
£10m ?!! In fact, why not start at £10k, we might be able to get their most promising British youngster for around £35k ??
A question even older than those, that has troubled civilsations since the dawn of time. Given the chance, could Vydra make it as a prem player.
Fulham have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Callum Chambers on loan for the season from Arsenal. Nowhere near the finished article but I think that's a good signing for them and wouldn't have been bad for us at all. And West Ham! They're hoovering players up at an alarming rate - their squad must be bursting at the seams!! Now the 'ammers are trying to get Lucas Perez on loan from Arsenal. Have they just shipped last seasons squad off to China in a container or something?
Get your facts right m8. It's a 'cheeky' £10m bid which makes it way more likely. As we all know, adding a moronic 'cheeky' before something makes it better.
I've never been so bored. Tick tock I reckon I could even entertain a rumour about Matej Vydra right now
Alfie Mawson, Ben Gibson & Callum Chambers for a total of around £40 million would’ve been way smarter than persisting with Kaboul, Britos & Prodl who I can’t believe are still on the books. Replace them with HG players, free up three spots in the team, get some experience and fight in the team. No brainer for me really, bit annoying that we’ve not even signed one of them. How does that free up spots? We have over the minimum amount of home grown players over 21. The limits still 25. Don't get me wring don't disagree with having more of a home grown spine but we still have far too many contracted players over 21.
We've already got the maximum squad size, that won't make any difference to the amount of places available
Getting rid of three foreign players Kaboul, Prodl & Britos and replacing them with three HG players wouldn’t make sense? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mawson is injured and bang average. Chambers hasn't developed at Arsenal at all. Gibson I liked but if he was any good surely loads of clubs would of been bidding. You forgot Seb was player of the season a few seasons back. So more than happy for him to stay.
Don't get me wrong, i'd love to replace the three of them, but it doesn't make any difference if they're HG or foreign
Gibson yes, but Burnley would have beaten us to his signature even had we been interested. Mawson is no better than Mariappa. Chambers is absolutely atrocious.
This is all so depressing. Early window promise (Wilmot, Masina, Navarro) got me thinking we had a plan and all would be OK. I was even quite excited at the prospect of Jack Rodwell. But now it feels just like this time last year and now I'm just waiting for 11th hour confirmation that Molla Wague has agreed to another six month loan to conclude our business and an interview with Gracia saying he's happy with the way things have panned out. I have a horrible feeling that I'm risking sounding spoilt and entitled. But I just want Paco. GIVE ME MY PACO
Dont know why we don’t go for Danny Wellbeck. Arsenal have said they want to sell him, and he would be a big upgrade on what we have.
I think the main reason is that he isn't, and has never been, very good at playing football. But if it means we sign someone then I'm up for it
I would offer them £30m on a games played basis. Given that he will get injured would make it effectively a free transfer
Looks like Vydra is off to Burnley, a Prem team finally taking a punt on him again. I know the point has been done to death, and I thought we’d be aiming higher this summer (Alcacer etc), but if we’re struggling to find a striker, I’d definitely give him another homecoming for around £12m.
