Just read that Chris Baird has joined Fulham for £3.025million.

When he played for us I would never have rated him as having £3mil potential.

Yeah, but there's silly money flying everywhere this year. Someone said the other day, that spending had doubled this year compared to last year with premiership clubs having spent nearly £300 million between them !!!

I must admit when he was with us I thought he could have fitted well into out team... still, Fulham seem to be desperate to get a load of players in.

By the way I have no idea why those inane FACES appear above the questions marks in my previous post.

I know there's a few five year olds on this website that are kept happy by them, but please abolish them

if you put 3 ? together it comes up with the confused smilie ???

    e.g. ? ? ? ? ? ?

    I'd take that, & in that there's no mistakinginginginging............& I think

Bouazza would enjoy his cut too.........as would Chicago's Rock Cafe, Watford

High St, especially on tuesday nights.........he appears to enjoy the karaoke !

My Saints supporting mates are all gutted he's gone! Was outstanding by all accounts last season.

Well that definitely could not be correct:
"Bouazza..............£ £7M ,000,000" does not make any sense.

If you had just said "7" on the other hand, then possibly. ;)

P.S. This means that Slumberland have missed out on yet another of their targets. Their odds to finish bottom or be relegated are temptingly long.

I rated Baird and sat next to his dad at most matches. Every free kick or corner we took was followed by a Hampshire/west country accented cry of "You've got to at least beat the 1st man you ****." So true, yet still not learned from.
We could have easily snapped him up for peanuts/nada as he was considered surplus to requirements at St Mary's.
Fulham are truly building a strong Championship side.

Baird looked good with us, and was still very young.

Has had a good couple of seasons 1st team regular at soton, and looked very good last season.

Once again people on here are getting very carried away with bouazza's price

    Tongue-in-cheek sir, Tongue-in-cheek

Whether its mine, yours, or that **** Lorraine from next door...........its not for

me to say, although Derek (one but down) did get in trouble once for

    speaking to her.

It just amuses how clubs are willing to pay obscene amounts for the

    'not-alots-really' of this world.

I was just posing the scenario of what ridiculous price someone like Bouazza

could bring when theres lots of supposed interest when I dont think he's

    worth too much.

    Have a good w/e sir

  17. berkshirehorn

    berkshirehorn presumably I upset/disappointed someone

    why £3.025million?

why did they feel it necessary to add 25,000 to such a high fee?

    someone's, erm, commission maybe?
