Ok, I said I wouldn't watch it tonight, but I did. My summary: A group of men went out there to do battle against an enemy of old, facing their detractors from both within and elsewhere. I did hear there was some internal friction at first, with some of the older members of the team feeling the pressure of the situation and arguing with some of the management, and there was talk of an early bust up, but that was soon cut out and the action began. It was an explosive start and you could tell the initial tension was high among the team and the senior advisors, obviously an indication of what was at stake. Our lads suffered a couple of early blows, and lost a few of the original team halfway through, but they maintained their cool and just wouldn't give in. It was breathtaking stuff as again an again the chances came and went, and we watched with our heats in our mouths as yet again, late on, the odds seemed against success. Then pretty much near the end, they blew a hole through the middle with a brilliant individual effort, and managed to split in half the once seemingly unbeatable foe in front of them. The wedding at the end was a nice touch. All in all, I'd give Armageddon a 7/10.
