12 days to go and it's not really going the way we hoped it would.

OUT our best player and one of our best midfielders IMO

IN three 'players for the future'

I know there's been a lot of talk of how important it is to be optimistic and supportive, both of which i am all the time but this is a disappointing return so far. With money to spend clubs seem happy to accept offers but no-one wants to join us. The clock is ticking too fast for my liking.

I don't agree. For a start, the January transfer window is always manic at the start and end but dull in the middle. We're in the dull middle bit at the moment so to read into a lack of action so far is wrong. As for our 'best player' we've been paid double what he's worth and I'm not even sure he's our best. And to suggest Spring is one of our best midfielders is plain silly - he's not Premiership class. This has been proven this season.

matty spring our best midfielder i think not hes not prem standard and yes we could use him if we go down but hes 4th or 5th in the pecking order behind FRANCIS!!!

I didn't say anything about a lack of action only disappointment in what has happened so far.

If Ash is not our best player who is/was? A assume you're not counting Marlon.

I my opinion IS that Spring was one of our best midfielders. His contribution against West Ham when he came on was highly influencial and since then he has had very little opportunity to prove his worth.

My main concern is the much discussed reluctance of anyone of established quality to join us.
