I think he learned his craft at Watford. ****y part of the world.

A brief apprenticeship so presumably he is a quick learner.

    Bodes well.

    He was originally Amersham, actually.

Obviously the next 4 games will be most important.

If we win on Monday, that will see us 2 ahead of Leicester & Wolves, 3 ahead of Leicester.

If we beat Huddersfield, but all of our rivals win we will be in the same boat. However if we then beat Southampton we could be 2 ahead of wolves, 5 & 6 ahead of Leicester and Everton respectively.

Then comes the Wolves match, win that and we will be at least 5 points ahead with 2 to play.

And what about Leicester? You haven't mentioned them.

Wasn’t he born in Amersham but then moved to Chesham?

This is the narrative which fits best with my subjective view of the world.

Yes, but my memory of the family (I was good friends with his brother as a child and we've kept in touch) is of them in Amersham, rather than Chesham. I used to walk home from school with his brother and he definitely walked up the hill with me!

    I remember you know them.

Unless you were prodigious walkers, this suggests Chesham Bois.

Citeh awarded another offside goal,I see. Hopefully all of these decisions will 'balance themselves out' in the final. If they do that equates to a 12 nil head start for us!

Followed up by Salah dive. No yellow card. Just a usual Sunday double; dive + offside goal in the city and Liverpool games.

And plenty to debate in the pub after the game for Palace and Chelsea fans. Bet they are having a great old time laughing at their jolly old bad luck and would've hated those decisions going for them.

As that's what it's all about.

Well the Chelsea match there was no penalty and the Man City goal ended formalities so I doubt the conversation would have lasted more than milliseconds. VAR would not have been called in to give Salah a yellow card so I think you’re going to be disappointed next season.

I know you like to do your party piece post every few days about chatting in the pub, but I think VAR is going to be a shambles next year.
Would it stop Man Utd’s first penalty against West Ham? Doubt it. Big boys will still get the benefit of the doubt.

    Business as usual.

Yes a real shame. Simply because I wanted then to stay up as guaranteed relegation fodder for next year.
For the same reason I don't want Villa or Leeds to get promoted. Norwich less of an issue. The ideal potentially realistic combination would be Norwich, Sheff Utd and Bristol City or Middlesbro'.

Yeah. Leeds would go straight into mid table I reckon.

Cardiff 2 up at Brighton. Will Hughton keep his job if Brighton go down? They seemed set to be lower mid table this season.

    Cardiff 2 up at Brighton.

    Run ins:

    Cardiff - Liverpool (H) , Fulham (A) , Palace (H) , Man U (A)

    Brighton's: Wolves (A) , Newcastle (H) , Arsenal (A) Man C (H)

  27. Don’t think Brighton will pick up another point. Cardiff could get something against Foolham.

Fulham v Cardiff and Brighton v Newcastle are pivotal. Massive weekend for both clubs. I'd say Cardiff have the slight advantage with also facing Palace.

Assuming result stays the same, out of the two I would still much prefer to be in Brighton's position.

Yes forgot about that one ..

Might be handy for Brighton that Spurs are in the CL semi finals .

Brighton are playing like they are the ones who are going down. No fight. They could be playing Tottenham school kids and I think they’d lose.
