The new VBPlaza System

Apologies for placing this in General Football but we'll move it at the end of the week to the Forum forum! Just wanted to give it maximum exposure.

You might have noticed a few changes in the last 24 hours or so. As promised about the time the officials went down, I'd planned to install a forum virtual economy here. It's now been installed and things are being tweaked and tested before you can begin to use it. Soon you'll be able to earn v-cash, points, Horns or whatever we decide on in other ways than just the V-Bookie events. Plus there will be things to spend your ill earned cash on too!

All we ask is for some patience for now. Anyone who had more than 500 v-cash before it was upgraded WILL get the v-cash back. Anyone who was at less than 500 has started again at 500.

Each item/feature will be tested before it's made live and you can use it, and I'm currently trialling the bank as you might see from my details. As the week progresses you should see more features from VBPlaza open up. On the navigation bar above here you'll notice a VPlaza Menu, it'll work eventually

This plugin is very much on trial. If it causes issues as time passes then it will be gone as quickly as it arrived.

The Bank is now open. You can deposit and withdraw points for no cost. Interest is paid at 1% every 2 days on anything in the bank at that time.

To enter the bank click on VBPlaza menu in the nav bar above, and either select VBPlaza Main, or click the bank link.

That's good. Testing and tweaking each function before it goes live. As long as you can bank you'll be fine for now

That's the thief option. Currently disabled but I tried it on the test forum and I lost a lot more than I thieved Maybe in time, but I'm very concious of not activating parts of this plugin that could cause trouble. not yet anyway

How does the person reciveing the donation find out somebody has donated to them?

It'll all be paid back ASAP. The software keeps the total v-cash you had before the switch so I'll get round to it soon.

 

Done the first batch. Everyone with usernames down to I has been updated if their v-cash was more than 500.

Everyone now updated. If you had less than 500 then you now have 500, if you had more than 500 then you will have that exact figure. If you think your total is wrong let me know and I'll double check.
