Mr Phil Dowd, I bet you lot enjoyed the last ten minutes at the Emirates this afternoon.
Wigan were a bit unlucky me thinks.

didn't see or listen Roady, but yeah - the turn around is a god send. we have to rely on the other losing at the same time as us winning so its a double whammy weekend.

trust you are well, up there in Brookside?:)

Wigan were denied a blatant pen on 81 mins, the ball then went out to an Arsenal player, who was offside, who crossed for the Arsenal equaliser, whilst this was going on Wigan were trying to get an injured player back on to the field of play after an injury and Dowd wouldn't let him....Paul Jewell was fuming and I mean FUMING. I thought he was going to give him a good hiding at the final whistle.

Sounds fine to me, if wigan lose:) :)

na, i don't man that in an extreme way - but it does reinforce the big boys league and the minnows league argument.

I think orns4life is referring to an incident between henry and Chris Kirkland.
When Arsenal equalised Henry picked the ball out of the net and pushed it into Kirklands chest as if to say 'Go on grab the ball and waste time now' referring to Wigans time wasting, but being 1-0 up at the emirates you couldn't really blame them.... Henry went down a bit in my estimations after that.

Ben Foster was told off by the ref for time wasting yesterday. In fact we were very profesional in that department through out the game.

On a downer after yesterday, thought we'd give the goerdies a good hiding, and from what I can gather we should have, given all the chances we had.

Roady, you go to the game yesterday?

Was good meeting you before the game down here.

No back at work now, very difficult to get to away games of long distances. So its usually just Anfield for me these days.

For once i agree with you Athur - the carp decisions that went against us until Heider's 2 'goals' has given me little sympathy with wigan, wet spam and anyone else - hope that we've had our share of **** and now it's being spread around a bit more.
