yes that's right guys. R for realistic. Honest response: How many of you are still believing in Aidy's relentless positivity? I have to admit I did buy into it last season, but that's because we backed it up with quality performances on the pitch. This time around, aside from the fact that everyone seems to be laughing at our 'we can stay in the Premiership' attitude (I don't care about that anyway). Changing tack, and saying he's asked the players to enjoy the rest of the season, doesn 't seem to be working either; I can still tell by their performances that they are nervous and anxious about each game, which coupled by the fundamental lack of quality in the squad, is paralysing their performances. What I want to know is, is this positivity a charade that the fans and the players' can see through, or is he still right to keep the faith going for the fans and the players'?
Well there's no point in him saying "That's it, we're relegated" until we're actually down. I'm sure honest talks between management and squad go on after every match but in public it's not embarassing for him to suggest we can stay up. We won't, but it's better than signing off now.
