Norwich to easily win the division. That's what happens when you don't sell all your players I guess.

This will be their fifth win on the spin... no hope of autos when we’ve never won more than two in a row.

Realistically it’s Bournemouth we need to try and get above, no chance we catch Norwich, we’ve not looked remotely like winning five games in a row.

The game against them is going to be worse than the West Brom moment back in 07/08.

They are going to destroy us.

This time next season I wouldn’t be surprised to see us hovering in or around the bottom 6. Bit like Derby, Forest etc..

I’d say today was our West Brom moment to be honest.

The way we are playing we will be lucky to make midtable. Some of the slackers need to be removed from the dressing room along with Ivic.

It is no coincidence that when players like Crapoo turn up things go south. The younger players like Ngakia, Wilmot and Garner do put the effort in. They shame the older professionals. Such a pity TDB was injured as he also looked hungry and eager to make a point and then at least we could keep Crapoo out of the side sulking about not getting his move to join Papa Javi. His own goal was embarrassing. Then to sit sulking on the advertisement boards as if not accepting the decision. Sideways and always the easy ball for him today once again.

Playing 2 up would help. Or JP and Sarr either side of Perica in a 4-3-3.

Brentford’s pitch is already looking a bit rough due to sharing with London Irish. It won’t do them any good in the long run, particularly if too many rugger matches are played in the wet.

Was thinking exactly the same about their pitch, it looks awful already.

Well done Brentford. First semi-final ever for them.

We pick up the dross Arsenal do no want. But Brentford managed to secure Da Silva. He will be off to the PL in due course. Just another harsh indictment of our magnificent recruitment policy or a complete lack of a coherent one.

Barnsley have even spent money on a defender. Liam Kitching will be joining them from Forest Green.

Some interestinging midweek fixtures coming up, couple draws would be decent.

    Swansea v Reading
    Brentford v Bournemouth

At least we can be comforted by the fact that Brentford will get at least 1 red card .

Yes, just a bit. He also was involved in a managerial controversy: The unofficial story was that the then manager Ron Burgess complained that Holton was too powerful in the dressing-room and was undermining him. It was supposed to come to a him-or-me situation and the owner backed the manager. He was sold in a surprise move to Northampton.
Cue the 1961 equivalent of meltdown on the terraces - not without reason, mind; Holton had previously scored 48 goals in one season for Watford.
